Bobby Fenton is as fired up as any red-blooded Bucs fan when it comes to the annual schedule release and what it means — and doesn’t mean. Plenty more on the buffet, too. Joe never misses an episode, and it’s all presented by the superstars at Bill Currie Ford, home of the nationwide lifetime warranty on new and used vehicles. Follow Bobby on Twitter, @bobbygameday and enjoy. An intense Buccaneers fan from his days in the womb, Bobby always keeps it interesting!
For 19 months The Free Stretch has been right here at JoeBucsFan.com being heard on several radio stations dating back to 2006. Bobby also hosted a national show on Sporting News Radio. [read more]
After general manager Jason Licht talked this week about defensive end Noah Spence, the No. 39 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, Joe did a lot of head-shaking and sighing.
In episode 17 of The Todd Wright TODDcast, Todd offers more perspective on the fall of the Tampa Bay Lightning since it is clearly the biggest national story of the week. Todd looks for anything positive, without success, but does find an analogy to another major sports upset where the victim found total and complete redemption one year later.
For the last three years, Todd Wright has been podcasting here almost exclusively on fantasy football and Lightning playoff hockey. While those podcasts are alive and well, Todd has a new podcast for 2019. And it simply covers pretty much anything that Todd finds interesting. No limits. Sort of like he did for nearly two decades on national radio as host and creator of AllNight with Todd Wright on ESPN, in addition to other roles with Fox Sports Florida, Sirius/XM, Sporting News Radio, etc. Enjoy!

In the final edition of the Tampa Win Cup podcast, Todd reads the open letter Lightning owner Jeff Vinik wrote to the fans two years ago. Is another letter forthcoming to apologize now? Todd thinks so and wonders why the Lightning seemed more interested “growing the brand” with new uniforms prior to the NHL trade deadline rather than adding an impact player.
