Joe(Lee). Baker Mayfield was the first QB in the history of the NFL to win opening 3 games of the season on the final drive. Falcons and Texans on the road. Jets at home. Let Texans Chubb go untouched giving up the lead just to let Baker decide things. Then, for good measure, only QB in NFL history with less than 5 incompletions and over 375 yards passing to win on another final drive at Seattle. Injuries then decided our season’s outcome. Not Baker making boneheaded decisions. Our team didn’t have the talent, or the OC or special teams coaching, to win. Baker wasn’t gonna turn this into a competitive playoff team like the 2 previous teams were. This podcast is still me and old Junebug’s favorite, but your takes on Baker are way off. And you’ll soon find that out. And as far as Sage and Steve confusion regarding Mike Evans potential impact on our season? Mike Evans, Lavonte David, Rachaad White, and Jamal Dean had more important things going on than winning a championship with their team. It was high time to get rid of them- we’re going to be better from it. It may take us a month to begin to gel this year, but when we do- look out. This team has a limit this year, that’s true. And that limit would be the sky.
