Yes, Kwon Alexander is injured. The severity has not been made public by the Bucs, though Jenna Laine of ESPN says it’s a hamstring.
When Kwon got hurt in practice over the weekend, multimedia guru Rock Riley (@realrockriley) was filming for JoeBucsFan.com and caught the injury on tape. It’s all below.
You’ll see Kwon running over the middle covering a crossing route and then go down without contact. He later appears to talk to trainers about his left hammy and is then consoled by Jason Licht. Scary times right now for Bucs fans with opening day in 19 short days.
With Mike Evans missing a couple of practices this week with what allegedly is an insignificant injury, rookie third-round pick Chris Godwin, aka reincarnated Roddy White, has gotten plenty of practice time with the first team. [read more]
