More rough news on the Buccaneers’ injury front. [read more]
Bad, bad news for Vita Vea was made official this morning by Bucco Bruce Arians.
Vea broke his leg last night against the Bears. Arians said it likely will end Vea’s season.
“I hate it for him. He was having such a great year,” Arians said. “I don’t think there was a better nose tackle out there.”

Buc fans woke up Friday morning on what would have been John Lennon’s 80th birthday, lamenting a hard day’s night.
Bucs beating Bucs.

Nothing drives Joe to scream at the TV quite like when announcers in the last two Bucs games talked about how the Bucs have really just completed ___ preseason games, so they’ve not yet jelled because the starters haven’t — or have barely — completed the equivalent of their August snaps. Confession.
Yes, when the Bucs took a 13-0 lead last night with seven minutes left in the first half, there were national NFL writers wondering on Twitter if Bucs coach Bucco Bruce Arians was going to run up the score on the Bears in payback for not hiring him last decade. [read more]
Before last night, it had been five freakin’ years since the Bucs had a running back deliver back-to-back games of 100 yards rushing or more. [read more]
