Bucs Shine In Some Critical Areas

October 9th, 2020

League leader.

Yeah, the team with the most points when the clock runs out is the most important stat and perhaps the only stat that counts.

But some elements of the Bucs suggest the team is close to doing damage. For example, Bucs corner Carlton Davis, with a pick last night, is now tied for the NFL lead with Pierre Desir (gesundheit!) at three.

In the important area of making teams pay for turnovers, only Cleveland (45) and Seattle (42) have scored more points off turnovers than the Bucs (34).

Additionally, Mike Evans caught his fifth red zone touchdown pass last night. He leads the NFL in that category.

Ronald Jones is tied for second among running backs with three runs of 20 yards or more.

Stats are for losers. Win the game

    ^^^what Eric said.

Oline sucked last night. If there was a single reason for us losing, it is Smith, Jensen and Wirf’s game last night. I can give Wirf a pass, as it was his first game looking like a rookie

Is it too late to let Donavon “swinging door” smith OPT OUT?!

Is Gronk freelancing or is BL a really bad play designer? A couple of times last night, Gronk and ME were so close together they could have held hands. Even the play-by-play guy said he thought Gronk stole a pass intended for ME – and it looked like it.

Two really bad calls on Shaq did not loose the the game – Oline owns that one. But they were really bad. However, we had ample opportunity if not for some horrible BL play calling and, did I mention the Oline play?!

Losing VV is going to hurt really, really bad.

Thank you TB for FINALLY calling out the Oline for their crap

  3. The Coroner Says:

Offensive play calling was lame last night.
The Bucs were undisciplined – again.
TB12 just made some bad throws plain and simple.
Brady had a senior, Pop Warner moment when he threw the last pass of the game as a higher risk 3rd down pass when it was 4th down.
The refs made bad calls, but that happens to everyone.

  4. LJsDaddy Says:

You are right Erick…they sucked last night. Top five D my a$$.

  5. Brandon Says:

That was the worst play calling in the four minute O I’ve ever seen. Three plays, 16 seconds run off clock. Rojo, one carry.

  6. Coburn Says:

Agreed Brandon was like what the heck was that? Needed to use more time and just move the chains

  7. 813bucboi Says:

as much of a fan i am of BL, the second half play calling was bad….

but so was the defensive play calling….

Bowles, BL and BA shat the bed last night….they were all outcoached….

    GO BUCS!!!!!

  8. Allbuccedup Says:

Tyler Johnson also showed glimpses of why he was drafted. I believe given more opportunities he will continue to only get better. The sad part with this teams injury history he should keep getting more reps. It makes me wonder what kind of training and exercising programs these players are getting.

  9. rrsrq Says:

You still can’t run on the team – I think the scheme more than the players hurt the team last night with the cushions

  10. Sesteprenelicus Says:

Away game, lots of injuries, stupid penalties, blatantly bad officiating… and yet only lost by 1 point. It’s hardly time to panic.

  11. bojim Says:

Bucs got outcoached too. Hey BL. When the run’s not working you keep calling it but when it does work you get away from it. Dyslexia?
