The NFL Network scroll has the bad news. Cornerback Jamel Dean joins Mike Evans as new members of the Buccaneers’ COVID reserve list.

What that fully means is unclear. Dean could test negative and be ready to play Sunday, or the NFL could change its quarantine rules soon to allow players to return after five days of alone time.

COVID is spreading fast among players and Mike Evans, already nursing a bad hamstring, is the latest to find his way to the dreaded COVID list, per ESPN TV.

What that means is unclear. But he will need two negative tests one day apart in order to return to action.

“Hey Glazer, I want another raise, a clothing stipend, new pool toys and a Super Bowl ring for my dog.”
