“Three To Four Extra Meetings Per Week”

December 28th, 2021

“Don’t be late, Ryan.”

Are the Bucs the favorite to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl?

To answer that, Joe will ask you to choose between Dak Prescott, Aaron Rodgers, Matthew Stafford and Tom Brady.

Joe’s riding with The Goat and the Bucs’ surging defense.

Nothing wrong with the other QBs, but Rodgers is 7-8 in the playoffs since his 2010 Super Bowl season. Stafford is melting down and has never won a playoff game. And Prescott is 1-2 as a postseason starter.

Tonight on the Buccaneers Radio Network, wide receiver Scotty Miller pulled back the curtain on Brady just a little more than usual. And it was great stuff that inspires confidence.

Fans have read Joe sharing how Brady meets with the offense to review details. But Miller shared it’s up to “three to four extra meetings per week with him.”

Miller emphasized that’s above and beyond what the team was having “before he got here.” Every detail is scrutinized, Miller said, and Brady is the ultimate pro.

Miller said the team is “a little more comfortable” than last year because “we know what it takes,” but he added that the Bucs’ excitement level may be lower now and that needs to pick up.

Rodgers is genuinely scared of our front especially suh. He no parts of that man

  2. Jay Jay Says:

I’d say both team and fans alike should take it one game at a time, one play at a time. Given the terrible level of injuries, COVOMIT, and recent “shocking upsets” across the league, anything can happen in the next 2 months. So let’s all breathe easy, focus, pray and zero in on each step. Jets next. Let’s beat them by 30 points! See stellar performances by our starters and backup players, gets more reps in for the “next men up.” If we keep going like last game against the Panthers, build on the successes we had in that game, that positive mojo will carry us into the playoffs on a mental high we all definitely want!

  3. BuccaneerButters Says:

For sure Jersey. Everytime I celebrate a good Suh play or even mention him, my fellow Wisconsinites look at me like I punched a baby. Suh is public enemy #1 up here. I love it. He’s been a godsend to our beloved Bucs, and I love to irk Packers fans

  4. BucUpBuccaroos Says:

Great point Jersey Buc. I have been waiting to hear someone else excited to see the Suh-Rodgers matchup. It seems obvious Suh is is in his head and in his face before, during and after their games. This has been as much fun to watch as Warren Sapp and Brett Favre. I think Favre was much tougher mentally than Aaron and Suh will be in his head and grille when they meet again.

  5. RONDAE HOF 2022 Says:

I LUV SEEING THE AINTS TURN AROUND AND BASICALLY GET SHUT OUT LAST NIGHT …

  6. LUVMYBUCS Says:

I’m still trying to figure out how the Dolphins can score and beat the Saints in their dome but we couldn’t even score a touchdown against them.

  7. Bird Says:

I agree with someone who posted yesterday

Teams i dont want to face in playoffs ranked

1-saints (not sure if completely out as vikings/eagles/49ers have to play tough games still and saints have atlanta and carolina
    2-rams
    3-packers

Not sure what it is with saints. But i do know that teams w a mobile qb usually play better against tough saints defense. With brady , saints know he will not scramble so they rush 4 which they have the studs to do it and drop everyone else into a coverage shell. Thats why we need to rush more against them
They have our playbook it seems at times. We are Giving some kind of tell. Gonna be tough without Godwin . But brady loves loves him some AB and trust him to make the play. He seems to get 100 yard receiving or tds in his sleep. And according to joe , we are undefeated with AB in game. Grayson is the guy now on end arounds and speed to stretch field. Need guys healthy for playoffs
Defense is playing better. Lets see how they do against the best teams in nfc.

luvmybucs. Yes that concerns me big time. we beat Dallas in the first game. WFT kicks our arse. The Saints shut us out. THEN Dallas crucifies the WFT. The Saints gets clobbered my MIAMI!!!!!!!!!!! What the frick The Bucs under this coaching crew is like Forrest Gump. Never know what we’re gonna get. BTW, Miami’s coach was trained by Bilichick hummmm. Looks like coaching really does matter hahaha

  9. Listnfrmafar Says:

Extra meetings, huh? What a great concept. BA ‘s extra meetings are at Rachael’s Gentlemens Culb. Players doing the coaches job again. Miami’s offense is one of the lowest scoring O’s in the league. I am convinced now the Saints losses are all on bad play calling and game plans. They make it to easy for Saints Dline to pin their ears back and bull rush no misdirection, very little motion very predictable.

  10. Hodad Says:

Doesn’t matter who we play. The stars have to align, players have to be healthy, it takes a lot of luck too. It’s going to happen for one team, since we’re in the playoffs, there’s just as good of a chance it’ll be us as anyone.

  11. Ed Says:

Considering the Dolphins offense is one player, a rookie, I have to say their offensive play calling was the best I’ve seen vs Saints. Lots of motion, misdirection plays, multiple handoffs, flea flicker, all with success against an older Saints front that isn’t good enough to chase speed.

On the other side of the ball, the Dolphins played hard, not dirty, they just were very physical vs Saints. Towards the end of the game, Alvin Kamara, one of the toughest backs in the NFL looked like he had enough and wanted off the field.

The Saints defense likes to bully the Bucs. Dolphins bullied back.

  12. Bird Says:

Did you see saints player on dline go for tua’s knees
They said he was falling down but i watched a few times and it really looked like he was going for the “bounty shot” (knee from the side)

I hope saints lose to Atlanta. No chance they lose to carolina again. But if they did it would be pretty amazing. Hate those aintz

  13. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Listn

Right? 99 coaches and TB12 ain’t one of ‘em, except that apparently he is.

  14. rrsrq Says:

Extra meetings with who? The offensive line, I can se how that is transpiring. But for Scotty, Tyler, OJ (are they in those meetings), what about Gronk (actually I believe BA is holding Gronk back for the playoffs for less wear and tear to close out the regular season). What about Key and ROjO are they in the meetings. I guess I am just waiting to see an offensive explosion, a 50 pointer

  15. PanhandleBuc Says:

Lower excitement level…what?!?! Better pick that up quickly or get bounded early! I hope he isn’t speaking for anyone else! That’s ridiculous

  16. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

It was a beautiful thing to watch Miami completely demolish the Saints!

  17. orlbucfan Says:

Well, it sure ain’t no state secret Aints and Payton play dirty against the Bucs. Why? Cos they get away with it. Hence CG14 out for the year. Brady ‘s lucky Bucs have great Oline and the zebs watch out for him. Otherwise, Aints would have tried to break his neck. Not a Fin fan, but I picked them and glad to read they kicked Aints azz!

  18. Listnfrmafar Says:

Extra meeting for Tommy Boy means it’s go time, you’re either on the train or you’re not.

  19. Jerry Says:

Hard to believe but Saints still not mathematically eliminated. I believe if they win out and San Fran loses a game, they will have the 7th seed.

Shows you why I hate the league adding a 7th playoff team.

Im convinced they’re still targeting to injure players. Fn hate the fn Saints.

  21. Eddie Marz Says:

CAN NOT believe they cut Greyson from the team. Waiting around for Miller or Johnson to show up. It’s going to cost them. If they don’t put the best players on the field, they’ll lose.
