Mike Evans Placed On COVID List

December 27th, 2021

NFL fans know the drill.

COVID is spreading fast among players and Mike Evans, already nursing a bad hamstring, is the latest to find his way to the dreaded COVID list, per ESPN TV.

What that means is unclear. But he will need two negative tests one day apart in order to return to action.

Get it now before the playoffs!!

  2. Jersey buc Says:

Probably wasn’t going to play any way against the jets. I don’t want see any of our injured stars playing against the jets no need. Should be able to win this game without them. No game is a gimme but come on

Im starting to think that COVID list is actually a short term IR. Great way to stash a player. Anyone else feelin that vibe?
    Go Bucs!

  4. NeverGIVEup Says:

We have Cyril, he is a STUD. I aint kidding either. He has some AB in his game.

MARK THIS POST, I said it first, CG is the next AB!!!

  5. Locked In Says:

    Like I said…

  6. PassingThru Says:

How will the Bucs ever survive that incredible NY Jets defense?

  7. Locked In Says:

We need to put TB and the entire O-line, D-line, LBs and DBs in isolation asap

@“Mike Evans Placed On COVID List”
Is there a FLU List?? Should be one, right? What is the difference between vaxxed+booster players with COVID, and players with FLU???
Most likely ME13 don’t feel a damn thing, but TEST tells you how should you feel!
    Let’s Go B!

  9. Jp09 Says:

All for the half percent…. Be sure if I get your boosters boost today

  10. Buctank Says:

    One negative test
    One negative test
    One negative test

They changed it a week ago. No more 2 negative test 24 hours apart

  11. PanhandleBuc Says:

Better now than 2 weeks from now.

  12. crazybucs_CL Says:

COVID, may be the best way-out/justification for BA, us not going deep in PO.
He loves to blame others, in this case blame sickness.

  13. Listnfrmafar Says:

It’s early, best timing for it. If he test negative and he can play dress him so Jets need to scheme for him but don’t play him unless you need him.

  14. Casual Observer Says:

The WR coach has tested positive. Hope that isn’t a trend among our receivers. Tighten things up!

  15. crazybucs_CL Says:

    Can players refuse testing???
Measure the fever(number one symptom), no signs of coughing, sneezing that’s it.
No testing need it, play ball.

  16. Cobraboy Says:

Nothing can stop a virus from virusing.

But maybe the NFL needs their own Great Reset.

  17. crazybucs_CL Says:

.. I for get to add:
    all are vaxxed
all are taking a booster per month….
    no need for test.

  18. Ed Says:

Cmon now all you guys lets stay out of the medical stuff and focus on Mike getting back into action. He wouldn’t play against Jets anyway.

  19. PassingThru Says:

The Omicron variant is highly contagious but doesn’t seem as virulent as the earlier strains. This could drastically complicate the postseason for any of the playoff teams.

  20. sasquatch Says:

I want Mike to play so he can get his 1000 yard season. Not at the expense of aggravating the hammy though.

  21. Doctor_Berto Says:

The Omicron variant is very contagious but about as strong as the common cold. This becoming insane to test asymptomatic players. The flu is much worse and you always heard about players playing with that. Stop with the nonsense

  22. Marine Buc Says:

He probably wouldn’t have played anyways. But I don’t believe the tests are very accurate. 85-90% of positive tests have zero symptoms. What a scam.

  23. Mike Johnson Says:

Da Hits just keep on comin. Whose next? Its either the virus or an injury. You pick’em.

  24. HC Grover Says:

Covidian Frenzy in effect. Blah blah blah. This is getting ridiculous. I don’t believe a word they say.

  25. SlyPirate Says:

    JimBuc2 … nailed it.

The Covid list is the new way to make temporary roster spots if you’re holding someone out a game. It doesn’t mean the player has covid. It means your GM and coach know how to work a loophole.

  26. lokog Says:

does this mean no 1000 yds for mike

  27. Jody Says:

Is his 1000 yard season in jeopardy?

  28. Jp09 Says:

Mike needs 101 yds to reach 1k but I’d say it’s more important to have him healthy for the playoffs. Even more so since we’ve already lost Chris for the year, but if he can still get it that would be awesome, Evans is a warrior just like Godwin

  29. Marine Buc Says:

    @ Jp

Agreed. Who cares about this covid BS. Let him rest until it matters…

  30. SteelStudBuc Says:

    Ahhhh the common cold!!!!
I’d tell a covid joke but 99.9% of you won’t get it!
I know I know the joke is old, maybe I need a new variant of it! 🤔

  31. HC Grover Says:

They can take that list an shove it up their…..

  32. firethecannons Says:

might as well get the covid now and get it outta the way

  33. Snookman Says:

Shut the whole team down and play all back ups after this weeks game between rams and ravens. We have nothing to gain if the rams win out

  34. bucschamp Says:

    unleash perrikraken

  35. Beeej Says:

CDC just announced that vaxxed people need only quarantine for 5 days instead of 10, wonder if NFL will observe this
