Antonio Brown Played Like He Never Missed A Game

December 29th, 2021

In midseason form.

Joe always enjoys Brian Baldinger’s film breakdowns on Twitter. Always quality stuff.

Now Baldinger was an NFL offensive lineman but he knows other elements of the game.

In a breakdown of Bucs furniture-tossing, bicycle-throwing receiver Antonio Brown, Baldinger found it hard to believe the precise timing Brown and Tom Brady had on routes Sunday. Remember, it was from mid-October until after Christmas before Brown took the field for the Bucs, out with an injured foot and his suspension for flashing a fake V-card.

Also, Baldinger enjoyed how Brown schooled Stephon Gilmore and once tried to hide behind foot-rubbing Rob Gronkowski as Gronk cleared a path through traffic for him.

Solid intel here.

AB is truly an elite wide receiver, no one like him, his routes are flawless. Brady brings out the best in him and him in Brady. Loved the shirt pull/fake on Gronk. A pleasure to have AB on the Bucs–keep the media away! AB is specific about what he wants to answer and Jenna Laine and bozo’s from Pewter Report need to go along with it. AB hopefully a Buc till the end.

AB is the spoon that stirs the BUCS Kool-Aid!…PERIOD!

  3. John Collins Says:

Not surprising Brady delivers the ball. Randy Moss was similar a star and when Brady worked with him made him a superstar

  4. MaineBuc Says:

Precision over possession… I’d maintain this WR combo is gonna work better passing wise for Brady. He prefers precise route running Wr’s all day.

  5. Mr Bean Says:

There are two elements – seeing the field the same way as the QB and running routes precisely. AB is the best in both. Only negative is his size.

  6. Rayjay1122 Says:

Not surprising really as they are both Greats. So glad to have AB back!!

  7. SB~LV Says:

On field football genius… off field the DA’s waiting room.
History is not on his side for his after football life.

    Baldy’s stuff is great

And yes …AB has always been bradys favorite target the last 2 years. Godwin is best all around receiver cause he can block too

But AB has the best hands by a mile. Brady knows wherever he puts it , there is a good chance AB will catch it Trust tree

Hey the Jets own a 10-1 record against Tampa. Once beating them 62-28. We need to start evening the score on this matchup. GOBUCS. KICK BUTT!

I like how twitter gave me a warning on the video for potentially sensitive content.

  11. Jay Jay Says:

AB really came back with a (sweet) vengeance. He’s such an amazing player. The absolute perfect target for Brady. Now if Gronk can just get back in his all-time-great groove, and the b-team keeps playing in stellar fashion, we should be golden these next 2 games.

  12. Tampabaybucfan Says:

I’m quite certain that 3rd suspension game for AB cost us the Saints game…..as long as we have Brady, the Oline and at least one top WR, we can win. (and our defense)

  13. Bobby M. Says:

We need to fine tune these last few games and walk away with convincing wins vs the Jets and panthers. Once in the playoffs…..anything can happen.

  14. Listnfrmafar Says:

SB, that’s what I’ve been saying all along. I know it comes off if I’m trashing Evan’s but AB has “IT!” The ability to get open and his routes are crisp and precise. Evan’s lacks this skill, he uses his size as his crutch and it works but he is not a great route runner. If he was he’d be targeted 10 times a game. Godwin gets it now. The WR’s that master this are the elitist in the league. If AB wasn’t such an idiot and played his entire career, he would absolutely be one if not the best to play that position.

It’s only a matter of time until this guy snaps.

That’s the difference between a mature vet player versus a immature rookie player.

Why would anyone expect a different performance from one of the greatest receivers in NFL history?

@”..Why would anyone expect a different performance from one of the greatest receivers in NFL history?..”

    they(the local Brandon’s agenda people) were not expecting, they were hoping/wishing for AB NOT to perform well;
Mr. Brown once again smashed them, and their narrative.

  19. Listnfrmafar Says:

crazy is talking to you FishHawkbuc!

  20. Trey Alderson-Cloutier Says:

Wow.. So glad they didn’t release AB because of vax scandal. While I agree he shouldn’t have faked his vax card, the protocols that the NFL puts the unvaxxed through are downright unbelievable. Just listen to what Aaron Rodgers has to go through. So I understand why he did it.

  21. Boo Radley Says:

First, AB can only be charged with stupidity in getting a fake V-card on the cheap. He should’ve done what the more savvy players in the league did: pay your own private Dr. Feel-Good for a legit card, legit vaccine, but just dump the poison after filling out the card with the required data off the discarded vaxx vial. Bob’s your uncle. When are folks going to wake to the fact that it’s only the hoi polloi who are being forced to take the jab?

Second, AB, the GOAT and hopefully Gronk will have to carry the Bucs in the play-offs. Particularly, on clutch plays to move the chains as Baldy points out. With Godwin, Lenny and Gio unavailable, AB and Gronk, who have the best timing chemistry with Brady, are going to have to consistently make those quick, 3rd down catches. After the Aints revealed every weakness in the Bucs O-Line, Brady’s gonna want to move the chains on those quick timings plays before the O-Line fully earns Brady’s trust back.

Gronk’s miscues, IMO, are the result of lack of full concentration on the ball fearing that he’s about to get cracked in-half again by a defender. Whether Gronk can shake off that understandable concern trying to snag those quick passes while being doubled and bracketed just might decide how far the Bucs go this season. Then again, an unsung new hero just might step up to help get the Bucs to the Promised Land. Again.

  22. Cobraboy Says:

@Boo: you forgot Evans. Evans, Brown Gronk are monsters. If Perriman, Grayson, Johnson, or Miller step up, that is still a formidable group.

Fingers crossed Jones and Vaughn are over the dropsies, and even Bell gains some conditioning and eye-hand-muscle memory.

What the team needs is health beyond Godwin.

  23. Mike Johnson Says:

Not the smartest guy in the bunch. But who said you had to be an Einstein to ball out? AB is just an Outstanding Football player period..Just like the guy on the commercial for the golf club says.

  24. DavidBigBucFan99 Says:

You conservative types with your constant need for a rally cry now it’s Let’s Go Brandon are such morons and hypocrites. Constantly bringing your political views up here. As long as it fits your narrative and of course it helps out the Bucs a lie isn’t a lie. When Jameis lied to the team you suckers were all puckered up and in a rage over it but AB lies when he had no need for it you’re cool with it. Like I said hypocrites. It’s ok tho because lying is human nature. You suckers always talk about libs but you are no better, just the opposite side of the spectrum. Extremists are always the enemy of harmony and you two groups are what’s wrong with this country. That’s why there is no harmony in the greatest country in the world.

  25. Jay Jay Says:

    LET’S GO BRADY!!!!!

  26. Cobraboy Says:

Extremists are always the enemy of harmony

I ran ^^^this^^^ through my ProgSpeak-to-Reality translator and the answer is:

If only you Lessers thought, lived, and did everything We Betters and Overlords command, we will give you “peace and harmony.”

Let’s face it: nothing preaches true harmony like BLM, Antifa, Cancel Culture, mandated EGT’s, and “mostly peaceful” riots.
