Bucs coach Bucco Bruce Arians.

The second-worst nightmare has happened.

Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach Bucco Bruce Arians, a two-time cancer survivor, has tested positive for the COVID virus.

Per a press release sent out by the Bucs, Arians is isolating at home and his head coaching duties will be assumed by run game coordinator/offensive line coach Harold Goodwin.

“I tested positive for COVID-19 this morning but have only experienced mild symptoms to this point,” Arians in a statement released by the Bucs. “Harold Goodwin will take over my duties during my absence.

“I have complete confidence in him and the rest of our coaching staff to prepare the team for this week’s game against the Jets. I look forward to rejoining the team and being back in the facility as soon as I can test back in.”

Earlier today, the Bucs placed Jamel Dean and Sean Murphy-Bunting on the same dreaded COVID list.

There is no timetable when Arians will resume his duties.

Get well, Coach!
