Injury update from the NFL Scouting Combine.
Joe asked general manager Jason Licht to update the condition of Bucs sacks king Shaq Barrett, and if Barrett’s recovery status after an Achilles tear in October might affect the Bucs’ draft.
Licht was non-committal and said he can’t say if Shaq will be ready for training camp.
“He’s where he’s supposed to be,” Licht said of Shaq. “It’s too early to tell where he’s at. Other than he’s where he’s supposed to be right now.”
After the regular season, Shaq said in the Bucs locker room that he believed he could be ready for camp.
