Call it complementary football if you wish. Yes, the offense and defense of the Bucs meshed together Sunday to generate yet another road win against a division foe.
But in my mind, the Bucs played so well and so hard, that effort should be lauded and savored. Let’s call that complimentary football.
Let’s also call it Tampa Bay’s most impressive road win in three years, dating back to a 19-17 victory at Arrowhead against the Chiefs, who had been 7-2. [read more]
America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, is racking up numbers just like the best of the best are doing.
Dude is throwing up 300 yards in a game like clockwork. Consider Jameis, by throwing for 313 yards today in a lopsided win over the Dixie Chicks, stretched his 300-yard games streak to six. It’s a team-best streak.
Jameis also tied a Bucs record he established by throwing for 22 touchdowns in 11 games. Jameis also accomplished this in 2016.
But yeah, the Bucs want to let this guy walk away because Andy Dalton.
Hall of Fame numbers.
It is unlikely Bucs stud receiver Mike Evans will break the 8,000-yard plateau by the end of this season. But he already has proved to be one of the best receivers in NFL history. [read more]
