Arians Ready To Party

November 24th, 2019

“Don’t make BS calls and I won’t cuss at you, simple.”

Joe suspects Bucs coach Bucco Bruce Arians is going to enjoy a cold beverage before the team flight hits Tampa International Airport.

Joe only hopes the team has coolers full of Big Storm Brewing beers iced up.

After the game, Arians had the line of the year so far, or right up there. Arians was asked if the win today was a “glass half-full” win.

Arians didn’t blink.

“My glass is full as hell,” Arians said. “It’s going to get real full in a minute.”

The head coach has a reason to be happy. This was very likely the most complete team win his Bucs have had. And it came on the road against a hot team that is loaded on offense.

The Bucs ran the ball. They passed the ball. They shut down the pass. They pounded Matty Ice so bad the Dixie Chicks pulled him to save him getting punished even more.

To Bucco Bruce, Joe has one thing to say.

Prost!

Enjoy the drinks tonight fellas….that was hella entertaining, i didnt mind we won. I still want good draft position but if something has changed and is clicking, stick with it all the way into next season so we can hopefully play some meaningful football in Jan. of 2021.

I think we franchise JW….1 more chance.

That’s harsh. If you’re what your record says you are then yeah …the Bucs have sucked.

If you’re a sorry sorry franchise that is desperate for a turn around playing rookies at MLB…several DB spots along with a couple of 2nd year guys, then you view this as a step forward.

Of course Elbajito…the Joes and some others have already talked about losing on purpose. This WIN is not a cause for celebration for them. OMG it’s like when JW and Godwin won that last game against the Saints that cost us TWO FREAKING SPOTS IN THE DRAFT….Do you people know the odds on the difference in two spots in the draft?

Heaven forbid we win 3 or 4 of the next five and get some building blocks for next year…an attitude change…guys looking at themselves as winners…a true confidence boost for our kiddie corps…no…let’s lose for a freaking 50-50 chance of finding a player.

Yeah let’s celebrate losing to move up a few spots in the annual NFL crap shoot.

Quit killing our buzz downers. Let us brag for just one day.

    St Pete…….Letem whine.

They didn’t get their little way let em cry.

I took solace in the fact knowing every member in that orginazation had one mindset in beating the Falcons today!!! And they did just that!!

When I saw Jensen make that a block and RoJo bull his way into the endzone I shrieked in pure joy. A joy these fans did not know. I guess they were miserable when that happened. It’s not nice to take joy in others misery but I am glad they are miserable. & I hope they stay miserable all the way through Xmas.

I hope they are miserable when/if we get to 500% in division and I hope they are miserable when/if we win most our home games and who knows maybe we see the unthinkable and we run the table and fool up the playoff picture. Sounds wierd to say but I did notice the announcers talked Atlanta and playoffs in the same breathe before the game(same record)……..So I ask you. Which team is better Atlanta or Tampa Bay!!!!!

Freaking enjoy this win and freaking enjoy your holiday. My bird is gonna taste a tad bit better this year. Winning is supposed to do that, don’t ya know!!!

    GO BUCS!

I know it’s always been disappointing that Jameis has created more then his fair share of turnovers in his career with the Buccaneers but let us take a moment to remember how life for years was before Jameis. We could never drive the ball down the field, the offense was utterly boring. It was disgusting and it was never entertaining. For all the bad Jameis brings he is able to move the ball down the field more often then not. For all the bad, he still brings entertainment that we have sorely lacked for way more than a decade…I am also of the belief that we all can improve no matter how long we have tried to complete a task. Jameis, thank you for the talents you bring us, they are present and noticeable..as for the shortcomings… keep working and chipping away at them. Keep improving…. this fan is squarely behind you!

  14. Buc believer Says:

REALLY???? That happy when your 4-7????? Sheeesh our expectations are SO freeking low!

  15. Buczilla Says:

Great win against a bad team, but we are bad too so I’ll take it.

  16. JimmyJack Says:

BucBeliever……I am bitter about the 4-7 record.

But I am over the moon today. We won!!! And not just won but we kicked ass!! And not just kicked ass but we kicked Atlanta’s ass. Dirk’s ass Raheems ass McKays ass…..And I hate Atlanta and I am sick of them beating us in the last five games.

And on top of all of that we very well may have played our best game in years. A complete effort and very solid football. In the heat of the moment and still in the aftermath we have every right to be happy……..Sure tomorrow we will have to come off the cloud and realize we just 4-7 but for right now it feels darn good.

Enjoy the win man. And let’s expect a repeat next week. We can still be happy about a win and dissapointment in our record at the same time.

Doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the games!!

  17. Buc believer Says:

@JimmyJack….. True Dat! Sorry I’m still just real bitter about the way this season has gone. I will just be happy this week and see what happens next week.

  18. JimmyJack Says:

All good Buc Believer……..Need ya there to keep us in check.

  19. 813bucboi Says:

    Enjoy it fellas…lol…

Let’s cross that draft bridge when we get there

    GO BUCS

If we qualify for a top 5 pick that means we aren’t making any progress and that means that we have so much work to do that a top 5 isn’t going to solve it.

Now if we have a pick around say 12-15, that means we are making real progress, the coaching staff look competent, and we have fewer holes than last year – which should be the goal every year, right?

So how can anyone possibly be mad about that?

Give me the 6-10 team over the 3-13 team any season

  21. JimbobBucsFan Says:

All you “fans” who are unhappy we one a game against a rival will have to just suck it up!

Take your support to the New England patriots where it belongs. Leave the long suffering real fans alone. No one needs you around here anyway!

  22. #1bucfan Says:

Still confused on the Bucs defense an who was playing out there cuz that was not the defense we have bin a custom to.lol I’ll take it. Hoping that defense that showed up today comes to play like that every game from now on. That should be the new standard multiple sacks held to 16 pts INTs FF. What a game by that defense

  23. Buccernutter Says:

You guys are a joke. I get it we should be better and it’s another disappointing season but there is improvement in nearly every facet of the team and you guys are complaining we’re not a winning team instantly in a new scheme under new coaches.

If we can’t celebrate a win regardless of circumstances, what are we doing here?

Attack me all you want but you guys are jokes.

    GO BUCS! GREAT WIN!!!!!!

  24. Buccernutter Says:

The difference in defense is Jamel Dean. That guy is a baller. He’s setting us up for coverage sacks and the front 7 has been balling all season, vh3 was just giving up too much cushion. Davis is solid. These guys could be our fix but I’d still take a vet to shore it up.

The rest of the season should be fun. There’s definitely going to be huge improvement. Jameis is now purely in the spotlight if the defense and run game keep it up, no excuses.
