For the first time in 19 years, the Bucs won a home playoff game (the Super Bowl was not a home game). And as a result of yesterday’s win and the 49ers beating the Cowboys, the Bucs will host two playoff games in the same postseason for the first time since 1979. One of the greatest plays in Bucs history, if not one of the greatest plays in Tampa Bay sports history, was in the NFC Championship game last year when Scotty Miller caught a bomb from Tom Brady in the final seconds of the first half. It proved to be the winning touchdown. (more…)
