Joe was really sickened by a piece of commentary from Gerald McCoy yesterday.
A rookie back in 2010, McCoy started 13 games for a 10-6 team, his only winning team in five seasons, and McCoy didn’t have fun so it wasn’t a happy memory for him.
Bucs fans are hungry for victory, hungry to see Jameis Winston, America’s Quarterback, wash the stain of losing that’s soiled the proud Buccaneers franchise for too long. (more…)
Asked about the rookie quarterbacks starting Sunday, Marcus Mariota and America’s Quarterback, Bucs signal-caller Jameis Winston, Gerald McCoy sounded like Dick LeBeau.
McCoy said Mariota is not a rookie to him, instead, he is the starting quarterback of the team he needs to beat. When the subject of Jameis came up, GMC raved about Jameis like few other teammates have. (more…)

Joe has no issue with starting rookies on the front line, like LT Donovan Smith. (Nor does Joe have an issue with Colleen Wolfe.)
Joe knows Bucs fans are screaming that their beloved pewter pirates are starting two rookies on the offensive line. Screaming! However, Joe is fine with that.
After all, these guys, Donovan Smith and Ali Marpet, were drafted in the second round for a reason. (more…)
It’s the 255-pound speedster versus the gargantuan 335-pound rookie right tackle; Bucs leading sackmaster (Joe uses the term loosely here) Jacqueis Smith simply can’t lose this battle on Sunday. (more…)
