The Bucs made a surprising move at offensive line today, re-signing veteran Earl Watford, who started five games for Tampa Bay in 2019 but had no job last year.
Joe smells Bucco Bruce Arians not wanting to play one key player on a very likely wet field Saturday night for the preseason opener. Hence, signing a guy like Watford and giving him a shot to showcase himself for the rest of the league make sense.
That’s just Joe’s best guess.
Obviously, Watford knows the playbook and can fit right in.
