The market is loaded with tickets under $200 for today’s Bucs-Packers game, the home-opener at The Licht House.

Of course, it’s a lot cheaper and potentially more satisfying to enjoy the game at your local Hooters or Big Storm Brewery taproom.

Joe is seeing verified resale tickets at Ticketmaster for under $150 and others at StubHub for around $165. Everywhere is “plus fees,” of course.

Hopefully, prices will continue to fall before gametime and yearning Bucs fans will be able to find a seat for $100.

It seems the Packers are getting a Ryan Jensen-like shot in the arm.

Imagine if today was a crisp, early-January Sunday and Ryan Jensen was returning to the Buccaneers lineup for the first time. (more…)

Signed to the practice squad early this week, 10-year veteran receiver Cole Beasley was promoted to the active roster today.

That doesn’t mean Beasley will play Sunday against the Packers. But Joe sure wouldn’t bet against it.

The Bucs could use the spark. And Joe’s fantasy life just improved thinking about Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Julio Jones, Russell Gage and Beasley all being healthy one day at the same time.

During their two years together in Nashville, Mike Vrabel considered Logan Ryan a pain in the neck.

In a good way.

Ryan would routinely walk into Vrabel’s office and question the defensive schemes of Tennessee’s head coach. It didn’t take long for Vrabel to realize the range of Ryan’s football intelligence, so he learned to take those visits in stride.
