Rob Gronkowski Attends Bucs-Packers Game; Return Discussions Are “Sensitive”

September 25th, 2022

Joe has learned that Rob Gronkowski is in the house for today’s Bucs-Packers game, Tampa Bay’s home-opener, and he’s all set up in a suite.

What that means is unclear, but Joe also has been told that there have been discussions about Gronk’s potential return to the Bucs but that has been a “sensitive” subject because free agent signee tight end Kyle Rudolph has yet to be activated in a game until today’s.

Gronk attended his own retirement party earlier this month at the Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook in Connecticut.

Before the party, Gronk told FOX News digital that the Bucs are his Super Bowl pick because of their loaded roster.

Entering today’s game, Bucs tight ends have combined to catch three balls for 20 yards on eight targets.

Gronk’s agent Drew Rosenhaus said multiple times this summer that he believes Gronk strongly would consider playing for the Bucs again if he got a request from Tom Brady later this season.

Enjoy the game, Gronk!

Love Gronk, but would love to see what Cade and Ko can do as the season progresses. HIGH hopes for these two. Rudolph and Brate, no hope at all, though.

  5. SB~LV Says:

Nice to have him in our back pocket and both parties are on the same page, no rush . Need him for the end of the season.

You literally know nothing about football.

Betting on rookie TEs is literally the dumbest thing you can do in football.

  7. Coburn Says:

Seeing otton inactive on a pakcets website. Seems like maybe Rudolph will get some action today as he’s active

  8. SB~LV Says:

Loveable Lumbering Gronk on game day… almost post season form!

  9. Leighroy Says:

Rod that’s a bit much. The guy literally at least knows of 2 rookies on a football team, so he does know something.

And he didn’t say he was betting on them by wanting to see what they can do. Besides, if they signed Gronk tomorrow, you’d still have to see what the rookies got for another 2-4 weeks anyway.

  10. Alvin Scissors Harper Says:

Would love to see Gronk come back.

  11. Rod Munch Says:

Leighroy – My fault, I misread the comment. Sorry Kody.

So, yeah we need Gronk or anyone who can get open. Our receivers are getting picked by the Green Bay secondary. And yes, apparently our defense bought all the your the #1 defense hype. They stunk it up in the first half.

There should be a Rule that once a “Player” retires that is it,your career as a “Player” is finished. You get your “Gold Watch”, Pension as a player is over. If you want to Coach,Own a team or sell Hotdogs for a team that is Wonderful but your playing days are over
