Kaufman of The Tampa Tribune while at the NFL Owners Meetings in Phoenix — Joe touched down in the Valley of the Sun last night! — general manager Jason Licht did the NFL equivalent of falling on his own sword, suggesting the Karlos Pena-like swings and misses in free agency were his doing. For the longest time, Joe scoffed at those who suggested the Bucs obtain a running back. Why? There is no need. The Bucs have one of the deepest stables of running backs in the NFL and just used a third-round pick on Charles Sims last year. (more…)
