That was my mission in Tampa Bay’s locker room this week as the Bucs prepare for Sunday’s home game against the Eagles, a matchup between two of the NFL’s six unbeaten clubs. [read more]
There is a play floating around social media that shows Bucs quarterback Baker Mayfield checking out of a call in the Bucs’ final drive, a game-winner last week against the Jets. [read more]
Per Joe’s good friend Rock Riley, Todd Bowles said after practice this afternoon that both receiver Chris Godwin and left tackle Tristan Wirfs have a chance to play Sunday against the Eagles. But they will be listed as “questionable.”
So the door is open for each to possibly play for the first time this season.
Wirfs has been “full-go” in practice all week. Godwin practiced fully Wednesday and took yesterday off. He was on the field today but his activity status will be reported later.
