I hope nobody steals your beach chairs over there Sage!

  2. Stpetematt Says:

I dunno where you guys get this attitude change nonsense from but you seem to forget Bowles was the DC when Shaq Barrett was on the team and he was plenty productive. Bowles might have said it’s not super important because he can scheme around non-super-productive OLB’s in the pass rush stats, but it’s certainly easier to have ones that contribute mightily to a *consistent* pass rush.

    So why keep saying this?

  3. Smoke Porterhouse Says:

Stpetematt: Do you watch football? Do you watch the Bucs games? If so, you actually think the Bucs defense was anything but a dumpster fire the last 2 years? I know, you think everything is great and you love being Mrs. Bowles, but come on man.

  4. Kenton Smith Says:

Let’s see Steve. Baker has thrown 95 TD passes and 37 picks the last three regular seasons. He’s started 51 regular season games in the last three regular seasons. He’s started 3 playoff games those three years. And thrown 8 touchdown passes with 2 interceptions in those 3 playoff games. He’s won all 3 regular season openers and all three regular season final games. And you say he is probably in the top 12 or 14 QBs in the league. Lee figures that he is one of the reasons we sucked last year. No, Lee. Not even a little bit. Both of you guys need to go back to the drawing board.

  5. Oneilbuccs Says:

The bucs will be stupid to resign Baker to a 4 or 5 year deal it’s only 2 seasons people talks about with Baker Mayfield in his whole career and that’s 2024 and the one year with the Browns . He’s now going into his 4th year with the bucs and it’s only one year you can say he was good. That’s not a franchise quarterback that’s meadicory but when you have a fan base and bucs meadi who celebrate meadicory and that’s happy with low expectations then Baker is your guy. And for the fans like me that want to raise expectations by becoming one of the top franchises then we are not considered real bucs fans. That’s why they’re going to make a big mistake by resigning a quartback that’s on his 4th team a franchise quarterback type of contract watch and see !!

  6. Oneilbuccs Says:

Kenton. You not even a real bucs fan you Baker fan boys will be gone as soon as Baker leaves. I can’t stand fans like you . You guys come on these teams website for one player that ain’t never won nothing lol 😂😂 I’m sure you were on the Browns, Panthers and Rams team site as well saying the same thing you are saying on this site. Lol 😂😂 hoping that those teams resign Baker and now your doing the same thing on the bucs site lol 😂😂

  7. LynchMob50 Says:

What the Floormatt fails to remember is that Bowles was not the HC when Shaq Barrett was at his best.

Bowles has lost his fast ball with the defense and is a terrible HC.

When you have the 32nd ranked red zone defense, go 8-9 in a division with zero winning records, and miss the playoffs, you should always be fired.

All other 31 teams would have canned him. But not the Glazers.

Jason Licht loves mediocre results with built in excuses for failure.
