While the show was upbeat, lively and energetic, the Donovan Smith-Ali Marpet gathering on the Buccaneers Radio Network this week had a somber undertone. [read more]
Joe just wants to wish all readers (and the handful of haters who can’t give up this site) the best today on one of Joe’s favorite holidays.
Think about it? What day can you eat like a hungry dog, often wolfing down unhealthy grub, and drink like a thirsty fish all day and night while enjoying football from noon until late in the evening?
That’s Thanksgiving, Joe’s kinda day. There’s no real reason to ever get off the couch except to shovel more turkey and dressing and pumpkin pie down your gullet and to, well, you know, take care of personal business that comes thereafter.
(If you are a sicko and watch a recording of the Bucs-Vikings game from earlier this season, it will likely aid in your, well, regularity.)
Joe has a lot for which to be thankful, but nothing more important than Joe’s readers. If not for readers like you, there’s no telling what Joe would be doing, if not doing time. This here corner of the Interwebs certainly wouldn’t exist without loyal, faithful readers like you.
Thank you all. Throw away the belt! Hope you enjoy the day.
Each week, the good people of the Bucs media relations department pump out a packet that is just chock-full of stats, information and facts about the team, coaches and players in an upcoming game.
This week on The ScuttleBucs, Jeff Cameron chats longform with Joe about the mirage of a winning streak, the organization’s direction and goes all-in on the Jameis storyline. A few interesting nuggets on Thanksgiving week. ScuttleBucs, give thanks and be merry!
Presented by Fan Retreat, The ScuttleBucs is right here every Wednesday afternoon on JoeBucsFan.com, hosted by Jeff Cameron and Tom Lang, powerhouse personalities and lifelong Bucs fans at ESPN Tallahassee, 97.9 FM.
The ScuttleBucs can be found at Google Play and iTunes. It rebroadcasts Sundays on ESPN Tallahassee from 11 a.m. to noon.
Listen or download above. Read more about The ScuttleBucs below.

Bravo to my fellow selectors.
The men and women on the Pro Football Hall of Fame voting board were smart enough to choose three ex-Buccaneers among the 27 semi-finalists for the Class of 2018.
There is one more hurdle to cross before John Lynch, Ronde Barber and Simeon Rice make it into that Minneapolis discussion room on the day before the Super Bowl.
In January, the list of 27 former players will be whittled down to 15 modern-day finalists whose accomplishments will be debated by 48 selectors, including yours truly. [read more]
