The frustration kept building inside Rich McKay during the elevator ride down from the owner’s suite.
By the time McKay reached the Atlanta locker room, his anger boiled over as he slammed the door with his game program. Arthur Blank had a look of disbelief after the Bucs held on for a 21-15 triumph against the gritty Falcons.
With a 21-0 advantage after three periods, the Bucs were on their way to a laugher — before things turned serious. Two touchdown drives and a 2-point conversion pass triggered anxiety for Buc Nation — and there was plenty of time left for another Atlanta possession.
Then came two flags, both controversial and both critical. The first came as Tom Brady’s third-down pass to Chris Godwin fell incomplete. [read more]
The Bucs led 21-0 today in the fourth quarter and crapped the bed trying to close out the game at The Licht House.
Still, Atlanta never had the ball with a chance to win yet some Bucs fans are in full meltdown mode. [read more]
