Runaround quarterback.
If Marcus Mariota was an NFL quarterback and not a gimmicky, misplaced spread-option QB, the Bucs might have been in a world of hurt yesterday. [read more]

Atlanta coach Artie Smith.
In this crazy NFC playoff race, who knows what might happen? The Bucs could get the No. 2 seed (Joe would wage cash that the road to the Super Bowl goes through Philadelphia. The Eagles’ schedule is softer than a Lovie Smith defense). [read more]

With a 21-0 advantage after three periods, the Bucs were on their way to a laugher — before things turned serious. Two touchdown drives and a 2-point conversion pass triggered anxiety for Buc Nation — and there was plenty of time left for another Atlanta possession.

“Scooter, we did it again!”
It’s another chapter in the Scotty Miller story, inactive last week and a key part of the offense today in the Bucs’ spanking of Atlanta.
But the story goes deeper. [read more]

It wasn’t really a fair fight. The Bucs had their way with the Falcons — when they got out of their own way with penalties, screwups in short yardage and missed tackles, especially on special teams. [read more]

Time to smack around Marcus Mariota and the Dixie Chicks.
This is where you comment all game long with fellow fans and random haters. Kickoff is at 1 p.m.
Be nice. Be respectful, unless you’re barking about zebras or the heinous Falcons and their ugly uniforms.
Go Bucs!!!
Julio Jones is more of a weekly Bucs fantasy that a football player, but Joe is enjoying the ride. [read more]
