The genesis of this notion that the Bucs need an indoor practice facility to be able to get to the playoffs is lost on Joe.
But tonight, when the Bucs moved their first training camp practice to the campus of the University of South Florida and its turf fields under the lights, it proved to Joe that if anything, the Bucs need to practice in a rain a helluva lot more. [read more]

Jameis Winston and the Bucs practiced tonight under the lights.
Your Buccaneers delayed opening day of training camp by 2 1/2 hours because of rain. Then, they cancelled practice altogether and One Buc Palace.
But the Bucs had a backup plan. [read more]

For the third time in a year and a half, the Mike Glennon Mob has absorbed a punch to the gut, courtesy of Bucs coach Lovie Smith today.
The most fateful day of personnel moves in the past 10 years came last year, when Lovie, fresh from his suburban Chicago basement, brought in turnover-prone Josh McClown to lead the Bucs (to the basement). Lovie announced he was benching the inherited starter, Glennon. [read more]
