Simeon Rice 2.0?
Sean Sullivan happens to be one of the biggest dratniks of any Bucs fan Joe has met. Sullivan is the general manager at Bill Currie Ford, just a couple of punts up the road from the Den of Depression north on Dale Mabry Highway. The draft is not a seasonal thing for Sullivan, it’s a 365-day-a-year passion. When Joe bought his Ford F-150 from Bill Currie Ford this past weekend, Sullivan told Joe he had watched his recordings of February’s NFL combine four times already. So Joe thought it would be cool if Sullivan typed a few stories about draft prospects. Here is his first pass attempt.

Joe spent time with a handful of “casual” Bucs fans last night, guys who watch about 90 percent of Bucs games and pay close attention to the team during the season and during key offseason times, but definitely not year-round.
Well over 1,000 fans were at the two-night, Bucs Uncensored/JoeBucsFan NFL Draft party last year, and everyone loved all the nonstop Bucs passion that flowed at Buffalo Wild Wings in South Tampa — indoors and outside. Derrick Brooks, Ira Kaufman and Brent Grimes in the house made it even more specials.
We’re doing it better and bigger this year. It’s free. The buffet is not.

Joe hopes these highlights will help Bucs fans learn what to expect from the 12th coach in franchise history. This series of posts will appear periodically until the days leading up to the draft later this month.
