Lots of chatter last week about the Bucs not being ready to play when the sun goes down.
Those days are over! (more…)

Not down on Bucs.
Noted skeptic Nick Wright of “First Things First” has always been, well, skeptical of how much success the Bucs would have by turning their team over to a 43-year old quarterback some refer to as a farm animal. (more…)

It’s better Joe posts this now rather than tomorrow because too many Bucs fans would lose their Thanksgiving Dinner on the floor. (more…)
Joe is fired up as the Bucs’ playoff march nears its final miles.
And an exciting trend has emerged. (more…)

Eyesight still sharp.
When the Bucs needed park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting, jet-ski-losing quarterback Tom Brady the most Monday night, Brady yacked on himself like a third-string Saints quarterback. (more…)
The math is real, and the Bucs are in prime, prime position to make the playoffs for the first time since the 2007 season.
Joe’s got numbers, including ESPN now putting the Bucs with a 92.5 percent shot at postseason action. (more…)

Rakeem Nuñez-Roches

Bucco Bruce Arians speaks
Bucco Bruce Arians served up an intriguing answer to an important question last night on his radio show. (more…)

Now it’s time for Barber to get smart and aggressive about the process, otherwise he’ll miss the cut yet again. (more…)

Dropsies.
The way things are going for Bucs running backs, Team Glazer will have to hire Ronald Jones and Leonard Fournette personal drivers. (more…)

Rookie beast
The research is complete and Joe can comfortably note that until yesterday, Rams monster DT Aaron Donald has never been kept off the stat sheet in his storied seven-year career — and the Bucs still lost. (more…)

Puzzled by Bucco Bruce Arians.
Joe refers to the playcalling of the Bucs as “AriansLeftwich.” Why? Because it is not clear who calls each play, who has veto power and who has the final say. (more…)
TAMPA TWO with Derrick Brooks and JoeBucsFan.com columnist Ira Kaufman is weighing in with Hall of Fame wisdom on last night’s kick to the gut of Bucs fans. It’s all presented by The Identity Tampa Bay and Joe.
Our beloved Buccaneers went from no running game last season to a very inconsistent one this season.
Joe will take the improvement all day! But there clearly are two major issues/questions. (more…)

Lost longball
Joe gets it when a coach likes to do something he has nearly perfected from a lifetime of experience. But sometimes you have to use your head. (more…)

Look at the bright side: At least the Bucs didn’t get blown out (again) in primetime! (more…)
It feels like two-thirds of Bucs fans really believed in their hearts and souls and minds before this season that the Bucs would win 11 or 12 games.
And that reality (albeit misguided) has created an enraged sect of fans as the Bucs sit at 7-4 and in great position to win 10 games and make the playoffs. (more…)
