What’s Up The Gut?

Friday, September 1st, 2017

BY IRA KAUFMAN

That’s what he’s here for.

So far, Buc fans have noticed that Chris “Swaggy” Baker is an extrovert who doesn’t mind showing off his playful side. He’s been a natural for those Hard Knocks cameras, flashing a wide smile and some nifty dance moves.

Baker’s first tango with his new teammates comes Sept. 10 in Miami, where Jay Ajayi is eager to strut his stuff against a rush defense that ranked 22nd last fall. (more…)

Exclusive Video Of Kwon Alexander Injury

Wednesday, August 23rd, 2017

Yes, Kwon Alexander is injured. The severity has not been made public by the Bucs, though Jenna Laine of ESPN says it’s a hamstring.

When Kwon got hurt in practice over the weekend, multimedia guru Rock Riley (@realrockriley) was filming for JoeBucsFan.com and caught the injury on tape. It’s all below.

You’ll see Kwon running over the middle covering a crossing route and then go down without contact. He later appears to talk to trainers about his left hammy and is then consoled by Jason Licht. Scary times right now for Bucs fans with opening day in 19 short days.

Nick Folk had an extra-point attempt blocked and missed a field goal that caused Dirk Koetter to drop his head. The red-zone offense struggled at times. Jameis Winston turned in a bonehead play.

I get all that. (more…)
