Yes, Kwon Alexander is injured. The severity has not been made public by the Bucs, though Jenna Laine of ESPN says it’s a hamstring.
When Kwon got hurt in practice over the weekend, multimedia guru Rock Riley (@realrockriley) was filming for JoeBucsFan.com and caught the injury on tape. It’s all below.
You’ll see Kwon running over the middle covering a crossing route and then go down without contact. He later appears to talk to trainers about his left hammy and is then consoled by Jason Licht. Scary times right now for Bucs fans with opening day in 19 short days.

“Frustrated”
More often than not, winning head coach Dirk Koetter has walked off the practice field recently and said his team didn’t practice well at all. (more…)
Diva chatter emerges
First, let Joe say that DeSean Jackson, by all accounts and observations, has been a model Buccaneers teammate since arriving in March.
Yeah, he missed a big handful of voluntary spring practices, but otherwise Jackson has looked like a brilliant fit in all aspects. (more…)

BY IRA KAUFMAN
Enjoy the moment.
There’s a lot of hand-wringing going on by national observers and even a few Buc fans about some of the things that went wrong Thursday night in Jacksonville.
Nick Folk had an extra-point attempt blocked and missed a field goal that caused Dirk Koetter to drop his head. The red-zone offense struggled at times. Jameis Winston turned in a bonehead play.
I get all that. (more…)

Unfair dart thrown
Another sharp javelin has been hurled in the direction of America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston, by mercurial local newspaper columnist Tom Jones. (more…)

All kinds of fun, knowledge, fan takes, and Training Camp Takeover aftermath are featured in today’s Bucs Uncensored, as the Stick Carriers continue to unite. (Did you see the 7 a.m. video (105 minutes before Saturday’s practice) that rocked the Bucs fan base?)
Three times per week, Bucs Uncensored unifies Tampa Bay fans in every corner of the universe. Host Justin Pawlowski is a former voice on the Buccaneers Radio Network, and an ex-college football player and a lifelong Bucs fan. Hear your Bucs take (if it makes the cut). Just email a 90-second-or-less audio blast to BucsUncensored@gmail.com. Listen above or subscribe on iTunes right here, or at Podbean.com. Justin’s work is not influenced by JoeBucsFan.com. Joe just thinks it’s very, very, very special. **CAUTION: some R-RATED language!*
Yes, Joe continues to patrol the training camp practice fields when not talking to important officials and fans, or inviting cheerleaders to Friday’s watch party, or analyzing practice video. Here are Joe’s nearly world famous practice notes from this morning’s sweat fest. (more…)
Jameis speaks
The wild and historic environment at today’s rather meaningless training camp practice was a hot topic among Buccaneers, including America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston, himself. (more…)
It was the fourth consecutive day for the Buccaneers practicing in pads, aka the brutal grind of training camp, but the team got a pick-me-up from an overflow crowd that required the fire marshals to assess the spacing and safety. It was the cheering Stick Carries you’ve heard so much about here. But there was PLENTY of football happening on the field. And Joe was patrolling the sidelines for all the good nuggets. Enjoy! (more…)
No-phony rule
Interesting take from big No. 93 after practice today. (more…)
The gruesome twosome for the Buccaneers’ offense
