Disbelief
You have laugh — or cry.
It’s just part of the “Bucs life” when you read one of Tampa Bay’s free agent busts of the year publicly lament how bad the team is with eight games to play. (more…)
There’s no way Joe will sleep tonight.
So here’s some of the Bucs-related stuff buzzing through Joe’s head:
1 – So the Redskins let DeSean Jackson and Chris “Swaggy” Baker walk this past offseason, along with 1,000-yard receiver Pierre Garçon, and yet they’re a solid, competitive football team at 4-4 with Bruce Allen calling the shots.
Head-scratching and damning commentary
At Abe’s Place on Sunday, you might find Joe struggling to lay off the bourbon (not the amazing wings) before the Bucs-Saints game.
Why? Joe absolutely cannot believe what America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston, was saying at One Buc Palace today. (more…)
The data is in from Joe’s weekly, 24-hour Dirk Koetter Confidence Poll, and the head coach took a beating this week. (more…)

Man, talk about a slap in the face. (more…)
Bouncing back?
Joe is still trying to get the taste out of his mouth from gargling with Drano after watching that complete and total shat show performed by the Bucs offense Sunday. (more…)
Scoffed at head coach’s weather excuse.
Yes it was windy at the Den of Depression today. But to suggest the wind was why the Bucs didn’t win, well, Joe is dubious of that. (more…)
Squeaky clean
One of these days, Joe expects an opposing quarterback to come out and play the Bucs wearing a Speedo. (more…)
Do the right thing
It’s time for Team Glazer and general manager Jason Licht to back up all the talk about love and deep respect for Tampa Bay fans and the rich, glory-days history of the organization.
A true Buccaneers icon deserves one hour of the team’s time — ASAP. (more…)
Joe isn’t sure where to start on this depressing Monday. The Bucs are now providing much more drama than “Hard Knocks” ever offered. (more…)

I can’t put it any better than Dirk Koetter:
“We let this one slip away.”
This was a galling setback, in some ways more hurtful than the embarrassment in the Arizona desert. The Bucs simply didn’t man up against the Cardinals. On Sunday, they didn’t smarten up against a Buffalo team that was there for the taking.
This one stings like a yellow jacket, so let us count the ways: (more…)
Both Bucs main ball carriers have the same number of carries, and yards per carry.
Doug Martin’s triumphant return three games ago hasn’t been the savior happening so, so many Bucs fans thought it would be.
Martin is part of a much bigger problem known as the Bucs’ rushing attack. (more…)
Outmuscled
The read-between-the-lines crowd is going to attack Joe after reading this and, as usual, they’ll be dead wrong screaming “agenda” and “hater.” (more…)
Challenged
One of the mysteries swirling around the Buccaneers is the health of Noah Spence.
Just this month, there have been a few nuggets of contradictory information. (more…)

The dejected look on the faces of Tampa Bay players said it all after Thursday night’s heartbreaker.
You win and lose as a team, but on this evening, the Buc defense deserved a better fate. And while Nick Folk was clearly the chief culprit, there was plenty of blame to go around as the Bucs came close to knocking off a historic NFL franchise for the second time in five days. (more…)
Hall of Fame GM breaks down Bucs offense.
When Bill Polian discusses the Bucs, Joe listens. (more…)
Get him.
Joe is waving the white flag. And so too should the Bucs. (more…)
It’s rare to get any kind of detail from Dirk Koetter about a Buccaneer injury.
Koetter likes to refer media to the official injury report, which is about as descriptive as a Walmart milk jug.
Standout
The Bucs’ biggest dice roll this season came up sevens on Sunday. (For those who don’t play craps, that’s good.)
The corporate world is embracing America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston, more and more. (more…)
Former Bucs assistant coach Herm Edwards has a plan for the Bears
Could the Buccaneers really lose to the Bears on Sunday?
