Where’s the emotion? Where’s the desperation? Oh what a week to debut a Tuesday edition of the JoeBoltsFan podcast.
Our Bolts have earned their 2-0 deficit and then some. This series ain’t over, but that the Lightning are on the brink without putting forth an honest effort is alarming. Talking a miscalculation of emotion, what Steve Yzerman must be thinking and climbing back into the series — drink up a dreary JoeBoltsFan tonic with a splash of hope.
Thousands love the JoeBoltsFan podcast with Tom Lang, lifelong Lightning fan, Clearwater native and popular personality at ESPN Tallahassee. It’s right here every Friday.
Bucs fans know Lang from The ScuttleBucs podcast, but do not fear, Lang knows his beloved Bolts inside and out.

Todd’s good friend and popular Tampa Bay weekday afternoon host Drew Garabo talked last week after Game Three of the Lightning-Bruins series about how telling it was when that game reached its final minute and the stands in Boston were basically empty. Drew was right.
Well, the stands at Amalie Arena looked exactly like that come the final minutes of Game Two against the Capitals last night. Not a good sign.
Lightning fans had seen enough for the weekend in two routs that were accomplished in slightly different ways by the team that took out the two-time defending Penguins last week and has not slowed down one bit since the handshake between Ovechkin and Crosby. In this edition of the podcast, Todd gives you his observations from his seat in the auxiliary press box over the weekend and looks ahead to Game Three in DC on Tuesday night.
Todd Wright isn’t just the fantasy football podcast guru and golf chief around here. The longtime national and local sports radio personality has loads of knowledge about the Tampa Bay Lightning. So launching the Todd Wright Lightning Playoff Podcast was a no-brainer. Todd has media credentials for Bolts games and will provide plenty of fresh insight.
(Also, the JoeBoltsFan podcast with Tom Lang has been a big hit every Friday.)
