“This isn’t fun,” says a Bills legend.
Any fan of 1990s football saw plenty of Hall of Fame running back Thurman Thomas. The dude had eight consecutive 1,000-yard rushing seasons in Buffalo and played in four Super Bowls.
And guess what? Thomas knows Leonard Fournette. (more…)

Buffalo coach Sean McDermott.
Joe hates to use the cliché “backs against the wall” for Buffalo because they are not in danger of losing out on a playoff berth. But a team some pegged to get to the Super Bowl is having a massively disappointing season. (more…)
What do you do on your day off? (more…)

Bucs DC Todd Bowles explains.
There is a reason why Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen is leading the AFC in Pro Bowl quarterback votes. He’s a damn good quarterback. (more…)

Fifth in Pro Bowl balloting.
Joe’s just going to call it like he sees it. (more…)

“What time, TB?”
Keep this in mind when you think about whether the Bucs will bring back Leonard “Lombardi Lenny” Fournette in free agency after this season. (more…)

Bucs OLB Joe Tryon-Shoyinka.
With the Bucs about to play a game in mid-December to begin their playoff march, Joe sure would like to see Joe Tryon-Shoyinka throw it into overdrive. (more…)

Who didn’t practice?
The Thursday injury report for Buffalo week could be a lot worse. (more…)

Harsh critique

This Christmas, some Bucs fans likely will think they got a lump of coal in their stocking.
Others should be high-fiving and pounding Big Storm beers in celebration. (more…)

All-Pro season?
Here’s a stat Joe is guessing folks don’t know and it is pretty wild. (more…)

Physical teammates make Ali Marpet smile.
Now this is an offensive lineman’s mentality. (more…)

Injuries and the Bucs.
An overlooked if not key element in a team’s championship run is health. (more…)

Winding down?
Michigan Man Rich Eisen was mighty proud that fellow Michigan Man Tom Brady won the Sports Illustrated “Sportsperson of the Year Award” Tuesday night. (more…)
The traumatic brain injury endured by Jamel Dean against the Falcons (yes, that’s what a concussion is) shouldn’t keep him out of the lineup.
On SiriusXM NFL Radio last night, Bucco Bruce Arians said Dean is expected to be cleared from the NFL’s concussion protocol today. The third-year corner did not participate in yesterday’s walk-through session at One Buc Palace.
Happy ending! The Bucs should have their top-3 corners on the field again Sunday.

Bucco Bruce Arians talks film.
For those who went to bed early Monday night, you missed one of the most fascinating football games of the decade, and it featured the Bucs’ next opponent. (more…)

Bucs WR Justin Watson
Joe found it more than interesting yesterday when, just two days after Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach Bucco Bruce Arians said Justin Watson’s season is probably done unless there is a rash of injuries to Bucs receivers, the Bucs placed Watson in the 21-day window to activate him from injured reserve.
