In this edition of The Todd Wright TODDcast, Todd looks at recent data indicating a drop in attendance at sporting events across the board. Todd discusses his personal reasons for leaving more seats empty in recent years and why most sports writers or talk show hosts cannot accurately give you their reasons since they never sat there in the first place.

PRESENTED BY*Joe thinks it’s very cool to have Todd Wright diving back into the kind of thing he was known for nationally.
For the last three years, Todd Wright has been podcasting here almost exclusively on fantasy football and Lightning playoff hockey. While those podcasts are not going away permanently, they each clearly have offseasons.
So, for the new year, Todd has a new podcast. And it simply covers pretty much anything that Todd finds interesting. No limits. Sort of like he did for nearly two decades on national radio as host and creator of AllNight with Todd Wright on ESPN in addition to other roles with Fox Sports Florida, Sirius/XM, Sporting News Radio, etc. Our thanks to Brandon Legal Group for their continuing support of both Todd Wright Tour golf tournaments as well as the TODDcast into 2019. Enjoy.
Some A+ food trucks plus dozens of cars, and that Boss 429 was actually purchased at Bill Currie Ford (just north of Dale Mabry Highway) back in the 1970s.
Smooth addition.

The Bucs are between a rock and a hard place. (more…)
America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston, is no Matt Ryan. And perhaps former Bucs head coach Dirk Koetter needed Jameis to be more like the former NFL MVP and four-time Pro Bowler. (more…)
Defensive tackle and the Bucs.
Joe has a clear desire at No. 5 when the Bucs are on the clock the first night of the NFL Draft. (more…)
We’ve heard this year about the mad respect America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston, has for Jason Pierre-Paul. (more…)
Distant odds.
In the past two years, the Bucs have had to deal with both a slob of a defensive tackle who practices public displays of Dendrophilia and a malcontent wide receiver. (more…)
A free man?
With Justin Evans dinged up and inconsistent, and fan favorite Chris Conte apparently stiff-armed off the Bucs roster, one could say the Bucs need a safety. (more…)
No. 99 will return
During one of his many interviews during Super Bowl week, Bucs legend Warren Sapp made a very interesting implication. (more…)
Joe would understand if the Bucs brass wants to see what its stable of young cornerbacks does with competent defensive backs coaching and more experience. (more…)
Too early with No. 5 pick?
Earlier this week, former NFL defensive back and suit Louis Riddick of BSPN noted there is really only one position on modern defenses where players can play like the NFL days of old and still change games. That would be defensive end. (more…)
