There exists a massive, unhealthy level of tension among Bucs fans. And it won’t fade until Tampa Bay has a winning record again.

Logan Mankins (r) reported in A-list shape in April. Evan (Dietrich) Smith (l) was quite a bit softer.
Not only are the Bucs confident in Logan Mankins reviving his borderline Hall of Fame career, one that derailed last year with the absence of a barbecue venue, a key Bucs official has called him the “father of the locker room.” (more…)

Back at the 2014 Pro Bowl, Joe learned from Matt Forte that Lovie Smith is a very hands off guy when it comes to the offense.

Nervous Bucs fans sit around chugging vodka and wondering if Tampa Bay will lock up superstar linebacker Lavonte David so he doesn’t become an unrestricted free agent in March.
Yesterday’s six-year, $101 million contract signed by Chiefs linebacker Justin Houston, with $52.5 million guaranteed, didn’t help their nerves. (more…)

Details emerge from One Buc Palace
OK, Joe is going to share a neat little story with a cool twist. But you have to follow along. It gets better as you read.
Now there has been a lot of talk that barbecue pitmaster, Bucs left guard Logan Mankins, is rejuvenated. Yeah, yeah, yeah, after the way he and his offensive line mates played, Joe is more than a little dubious about Mankins – or any other holdover from last year’s debacle of a line – and a rekindled love for the game.
