Jameis Winston is a blessed quarterback.
After breakfast with Bruce Arians today, Joe wouldn’t bet a dollar that Gerald McCoy plays for the Buccaneers this season.
Yes, Joe sat through (suffered through?) the 25-minute news conference that introduced Kwon Alexander to the San Francisco-area media.
Joe learns plenty about the Bucs that never lands on these pages. It’s a fortunate and unfortunate part of the business.
After one source checked in with Joe about the Buccaneers’ slot receiver position, Joe called in a favor to another source yesterday.

Kwon Alexander sounded more like a businessman and less like a Buccaneer during his recent chat with Alex Marvez and former NFL guard Alex Boone on SiriusXM NFL Radio.
A sage NFL voice thinks Peyton Manning when he sees the Buccaneers’ starting quarterback who is entering his fifth season — with a new and experienced head coach.
Bucs lovers know well that a losing mentality has plagued their favorite team for far too long.
America’s Quarterback has a very high opinion of himself, so he told a national audience recently.
Telling stuff right here.
