Now you guys are starting to see the light. Bowles was alway smoke and mirrors and at best a .500 coach that will never get the Bucs back to the promised land. On top of that our GM is a hype master. Drafting guys and starting them right away when they are not ready. Those young guys have no idea how hard it is to play in the NFL. Ask Bain…. I especially question his picks in the second round. The only good part to this situation is that Bowles will be gone at season end, maybe Licht also, and the Bucs will have a high first round draft pick.

Hopefully our next coach uses a 4-3 defense. I’m absolutely sick of “defensive genius” Todd Bowles’ defense. I want DEs who rush the passer and never drop into coverage. I want 3 fast linebackers who can actually defend the middle of the field. I want cornerbacks who don’t line up 10 yards away from the receiver on 3rd and 6. I want defenders who swarm to the ball carrier. I want defenders who can tackle. I want a coach who can squeeze every drop of talent out of all his players. Todd Bowles isn’t it. I wanted him to take over for BA. I was wrong.

We have been calling for Todd to be fired after every year. Because we knew this is who Todd really was all along. He is a 3-14 coach in this league. He is only an 8-9 coach in the weakest division in football with the best talent in the NFC South. The reality of it is his defense sucks and always has.
For everyone who called us racist or argued that he was better than what we were saying. Here is a giant middle finger to you.

If they lose Sunday I might have to go up to one Buc and apply for the head coaching position. I am 2-0 in Fantasy Football. Come in first or second place almost every year so I am more than qualified to coach this team. Could definitely do a way better job than Bowles.

I think the Glazers do not care one bit about us Buc fans. Last January they knew how unpopular Bowles was and how he lost the team but they retained him anyway. I think this was due to his guaranteed contract. They were saving coin. However they did launch Rúben Amorim, the Man U manager mid season in January with a payout of almost 10 million pounds, far more than what Bowles would be paid. This tells me the Glazers are more concerned with Man U than the Bucs and it is because Man U is worth so much more financially. The Bucs, well they seem passive, except for paying Vea and Baker to stink up the field. If the Glazers cared about the franchise being a winner, Bowles would have been launched already. Zero confidence for Bowles and the Glazers.

While I am in complete agreement with all the Bowels detractors posting here, I urge you to go beyond simply expressing your frustration. Do something about. Exact a cost against the ownership that embarrasses our community. That means don’t buy merchandise or tickets to games. If you already have tickets and don’t want them to go to waste, then sell them to fans of the opponent. If you must go to the game, let the boos reign and put a bag over your head. If you have season tickets, don’t renew.
Hit the Glazers where it hurts; in the wallet. Then they will be forced to start caring about the fans.

Actually, I’m not ready to make Baker walk the gang plank. I think that he has such a poor OC, bad WRs that can’t get separation or catch ( except CG), a TE that specializes in brain farts, and a sub standard center it’s hard for him to play his best. As far as Bowles, Zac, and Licht they can pound sand. They need to be fired. Sooner than later.

Before we go into full rebuild mode, it would be great to see if the players on this team can actually function with professional coaching.
Watching the current edition of the Bucs, it’s like all of these highly drafted, highly compensated players forgot how to play football. They stumble around, miss assignments, and generally flail around while other (better coached) teams run circles around them. It’s entirely possible that proven performers like Wirfs, Winfield, and Anzalone are cooked, or are so complacent with their multi-year deals that they can’t be bothered to perform at a high level.
It would just be nice for once to not have the team take the field knowing that they will be out-coached. I’m not sure there is another team with a worse coaching staff.

That is like the degen who says he will repay you tomorrow. It’s never tomorrow. Next week after Bowles drops his signature on another stinker he will have 15 more games to figure it out. That is the Glazers thinking. Not sure why. Don’t know if it’s blackmail or they just don’t care but they have had good reasons to drop Bowles multiple times over the last five years and refuse to do so and in fact keep propping him up.
