Benjamin Morrison Has A Hamstring Injury
July 29th, 2026
It it too early to call Benjamin Morrison injury-prone?
Morrison was at Day 1 of training camp practice today but was limited on the field.
Sadly, that was not a surprise.
“They’re still working on his hamstring a little bit but he’s day-by-day,” head coach Todd Bowles said of Morrison after practice.
Joe wrote early this morning about the urgency facing Morrison.
The Bucs’ cornerbacks depth is thin. To start practice today in 11-on-11, the Bucs had rookie Keionte Scott at nickel and Jacob Parrish playing outside corner along with Zyon McCollum. Joe loves Parrish, but he’s only got a few games of NFL experience at the position.
Todd Bowles said the Bucs have been working out veteran corners. He did not say if two-time Pro Bowl corner Trevon Diggs is one of them.

I getting the word……….. BUST!
July 29th, 2026 at 11:05 am
The hamstring injuries of Morrison and Wirfs make me wonder if the Bucs staff are missing something in their conditioning and warmups.
July 29th, 2026 at 11:07 am
This is just crazy. Our medical staff must be just as incompetent as our HC.
July 29th, 2026 at 11:08 am
No it’s not too early. Sadly, it’s now a trend with Morrison.
July 29th, 2026 at 11:10 am
the problem with morrison isnt the fault of the training staff, it is the drafting staff, including the GM.
July 29th, 2026 at 11:11 am
Trade Vita for a good veteran corner. This dude is made of glass. SMH!
July 29th, 2026 at 11:14 am
The good news to be taken from this: we don’t need Chris Braswell on the team anymore. They drafted Benjamin to replace him on the injury report.
July 29th, 2026 at 11:14 am
Of course at the end of the season we will get informed they were hampered by theses injuries the entire season.
July 29th, 2026 at 11:17 am
🤦🏼
July 29th, 2026 at 11:17 am
Was our “ROH” GMs entire plan based on Ben-Mo and Kancey staying healthy?
If so – please load him into the cannon and fir his goofy arse back to New England.
RE- taRdeD.

I think Joe would call Florida’s Elite Restoration if his faucet was dripping
July 29th, 2026 at 11:20 am
Correction… I meant David Walker, not Chris Braswell.
Wrong bust. Mea culpa.
July 29th, 2026 at 11:21 am
I’ve said it once and I will do it once again…
Terrion Arnold.
Yes – he is a kidnapper with multiple felonies…
However – our GM and HC is guilty of kidnapping my happiness and Ben-Mo guilty of grand larceny and is stealing money from the Glazers…
So who cares at this point?
You are all felonious crooks IMO!!!!
July 29th, 2026 at 11:22 am
…and OOF… that 2025 draft is looking shaky. Morrison’s always hurt and Walker *still* hasn’t completed one padded practice (it’s still underwear football).
July 29th, 2026 at 11:26 am
When reached for comment Benjamin Morrison said “Meow.”
July 29th, 2026 at 11:28 am
BuccoMarty Says: “Wrong bust.”
Now that’s funny. Sad, and true…but still funny!
July 29th, 2026 at 11:28 am
I have been saying all off season cb position is in dire straits. Morrison can’t get on the field and Mc Column should be on the bench. To make matters worse there is no depth behind them. I have no clue what Bowles and Licht are thinking. Maybe they are missing the forest for the trees. Yes and now they don’t want to pay Vea. The Bucs maybe the next Cleveland as an Organization the way they are going.
July 29th, 2026 at 11:30 am
Why am I not surprised? We’ll see how it goes…perhaps it’s minor. But so far in his career he’s spent more time in the tub than on the field. Hopefully that turns around.
July 29th, 2026 at 11:38 am
6-11.
It could get worse by the time camp is over…
Dumpster – fire.
July 29th, 2026 at 11:41 am
Well it looks like this is another wasted day 2 pick by Jason Licht.
Memo to Bucco Marty: yeah Morrison looks like a bust and Walker is a big question mark but I would not call the 2025 draft shaky when you consider that Egbuka , Tez Johnson, Elijah Roberts and Jacob Parrish were also chosen. Still early but 4 out of 6 picks contributing is not bad. However, Morrison being continually hurt is something the Bucs should have known about given the kid’s injury history at Notre Dame. I guess Jason could throw Bowles under the bus as he appears to be a “Todd” pick but in the end Jason has to own this epic fail.
July 29th, 2026 at 11:43 am
Hey, Joe, I thought this was supposed to be a BUCS news site. Morris having a hamstring issue isn’t news. When he actually plays a down or two that will be news. Or a typo.
July 29th, 2026 at 11:46 am
Dryness not doing well again, but really his injuries are getting very old.
July 29th, 2026 at 11:46 am
BM21 is a bust. Jason Licht has no business being allowed to select players in the second round. This year was no different when he selected Trotter and didn’t move up a couple of picks for Jacob Rodriguez who is already getting praise for his leadership and culture change down in Miami.
The only reason BM was drafted is because Todd played ball with his daddy. BM was a nepotism draft pick.
July 29th, 2026 at 11:47 am
Oops that was Morrison this speak to text is hysterical sometimes the way it comes out in text.😂 But dryness could be a nickname for him too.
July 29th, 2026 at 11:48 am
I won’t use the bust label on him yet, but I hear the fat lady warming up her voice. And by the way: Brasswell is probably a bust, but David Walker just had bad luck.
July 29th, 2026 at 12:00 pm
What a shock. Another injury. This is why I would’ve stayed away from him from the beginning. He was already injury prone.
July 29th, 2026 at 12:01 pm
The theory behind hamstring injuries is that they result from to much high-speed treadmill training. The training emphasizes speed without power. When an athlete transitions from high-speed treadmill training to the field, the hamstring muscle is missing the power component, which therefore causes hamstring damage when running on the field

MARINE
im thinking Aronld would be a great choice talent wise…im sure he’ll keep his nose clean and he’ll come cheap…
I’d stay away from Diggs…his speed was questionable as a starter in Dallas and since his injury, he lacks burst and speed….i doubt he’d make a difference
GO BUCS!!!!

You’re definitely on to something
GO BUCS!!!!
July 29th, 2026 at 12:11 pm
Sorry to hear that. First day? Wow!
This is starting to remind me of some of the good old days at One Buc shack in 1976. I never had a hamstirng injury but dang! Wirfs too? Vea has a What? Just call it wht it is please…Not fooling anyone.
Is the waterboy OK?
Go Bucs!
July 29th, 2026 at 12:27 pm
they haven’t begun to move and this kid is on the bench! WTH are we dong? This was a Todd Bowles pick.
July 29th, 2026 at 12:28 pm
Garro funny asking bout the status of the waterboy
July 29th, 2026 at 12:31 pm
was the draft too early? his jersey number was a red flag.
July 29th, 2026 at 12:49 pm
Wrong Jimmy! Look at all the sot tissue injuries the last few seasons. Also, look at the botched surgery or non surgery recommendations.
I said it last training camp and will keep saying it. This medical and training staff is among the worse in the NFL.
July 29th, 2026 at 1:04 pm
Of course he does. Another par.
July 29th, 2026 at 1:21 pm
I am thinking this guy will be a bust. Hope not.
July 29th, 2026 at 1:33 pm
Licht knowingly used a second round pick on a brittle player. And now he plays for the hamstring capital of the NFL. Why should anyone be surprised?
July 29th, 2026 at 2:31 pm
We can’t catch a break. It is early but this season already has way too much drama.

July 29th, 2026 at 2:59 pm
JBF why are you dumping my comments??
July 29th, 2026 at 3:33 pm
Well, when we drafted him, he either just had surgery or he needed one. Regardless, I thought such a high round pick for someone in that condition was a joke. He was only selected by the Bucs because he is the son of one Bowles’ former teammates. He probably would have been available in the 6th round.
July 29th, 2026 at 5:11 pm
Is this the guy who is a son of one of Todd’s former team mates?
July 29th, 2026 at 5:14 pm
Vita wants a trade, so instead of hoping for a high draft pick, send his aging ass for a pro bowl corner! Done
