Bucs Get A Break

November 30th, 2024

Bucs won’t face J.K. Dobbins.

The Joe typing this here post has been very vocal and upfront expressing doubt that the Bucs could run the table after the bye, going 7-0 and perhaps locking up the NFC South title.

In fact, the same Joe figured the Bucs very likely would lose to the Chargers in four weeks, a game to be played in the City of Angels.

Well, that game doesn’t look as tough now.

Today, the Chargers announced they will place their best running back, J.K. Dobbins, on injured reserve. This means he will miss a minimum of four games. That includes Dec. 15 against the Bucs.

Monday night’s game between the Crows and the Chargers was a good, close game until Dobbins injured his knee and left the game.

The Chargers offense totally changed after that injury.

Granted, the Chargers have a few weeks to regain their identity without Dobbins. But Joe is glad the Bucs won’t face one of Los Angeles’ best weapons.

Maybe Lady Luck is smiling upon the Bucs?

Changes nothing Joe they have petty good back in Gus Edward’s. They are a defensive team

  2. Mike Says:

I was thinking the same thing woodenman. One running back being out doesn’t change anything they still have a pretty good QB and good coach.

  3. Say what Says:

Of course, that means the Falcons catch the same break this week as well.

  4. Jugheadfla Says:

Not really worried about Dobbins…..more worried about Harbaugh easily outcoaching Bowels….which happens far to often

  5. GoneGator Says:

Not looking that far myself…. Best handle the Kitties.
IF We can beat them Sunday I’d like to see improvements across the board… Defense, offense, special teams.

Can we play 2 in a row with attitude, max effort and killer instinct?

  6. GoneGator Says:

Actually hope it doesn’t hurt them too much. We need them to spank the falcons, right?! 😳

Joe watched that Monday night game. That was not the same offense after Dobbins left. That game flipped when Dobbins got hurt.

Not the run defense. That sorry pass D Herbert going pick em apart

  9. drdneastup Says:

The Bucs don’t have the luxury of looking four weeks ahead, they have three games ahead of the Bolts game they need to think about.

  10. setherick Says:

well, here’s to hoping the low charge chargers still beat the dwindling dixie chicks tomorrow.

  11. Bartow Buc Says:

Bucs have already beaten better teams than the bolts this season. Bucs can beat the bolts if they don’t beat themselves !!

Go Bucs !! Beat the Cats !!

  12. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Hopefully we can keep the pressure on Herbert and keep him in the pocket.

  13. BillyBucco Says:

Let’s keep the pressure on Carolina 1st.
There is no telling who will even be playing by then.
We could be missing Irving and half the defense.
Just get through this game with no key injuries, win and move on.

  14. Dave Pear Says:

Harbaugh and Herbert would have to eat a lethal dose of peyote bud for the Bucs to win that game. In fact, they need Canales and Bryce Young to eat a lethal dose of peyote bud for the Bucs to have a chance today.

You know who is still ruining I mean running the defense and coiching the team.

  15. Lightningvinny Says:

    Win today PERIOD!

  16. Pewter Power Says:
