Bucco Bruce Arians Updates Bucs Injuries

November 8th, 2021

Bucs coach Bucco Bruce Arians.

So, Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach Bucco Bruce Arians is back from his Georgia lakehouse ready to rock for the second half of the 2021 season. And injured players were a big part of his first press conference of the week.

It seems both Sean Murphy-Bunting and Scotty Miller, recently activated to the 21-day window to allow them to practice, the necessary step before gameday activation, are on a path to play at Washington on Sunday.

“They looked really good today,” Arians said of SMB and Miller. “So we will see how it goes. See how sore they get. And see how it goes.”

The only three players Arians said are doubtful to play would be Carlton Davis, who is still on injured reserve, foot-rubbing, car-littering film guru Rob Gronkowski and furniture-tossing, bicycle-throwing Antonio Brown.

“A bunch of guys [were] not out there, but they will be fine,” Arians said.

Arians didn’t rule out Brown or Gronk for Sunday but it sounded as if it is more of a gameday decision. Brown bad left ankle/foot, Arians said, is still in a boot.

Bucs will cakewalk into division winners. It’s how bad they want home field advantage. The dumb players on the team will underperform and cost us home field b/c they did it last year without it. We need it this year

  2. Bucs&Bolts Says:

We’ll get the #1 seed watch us turn up! Real football starts in November!

  3. Bucsfanman Says:

I would sure feel better if Carlton Davis were closer to returning. Still, good news all the way around!

  4. TD Tampa BAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY Says:

Bucs will not get the #1 seed. Penalties and the mediocre coaches Brady is giving a ride to big pay days will prevent that

After watching the Rams get destroyed,
    The Jaguars WIN,
The Bengals get their butts kicked,
    Dallas take a beat down…..

I really do not want to hear how they have such an “easy” schedule the rest of the way. They have a lot of division games which are never easy and every single one of those teams are a lot better than most of you people give them credit for.
Plus they have the Bills who are damn good.

They just need to keep getting healthy and keep improving.
That said, I think they are fine and will go 8-1

Brown is still in a boot and Davis is still on IR… I don’t see either one of them coming back for a while unfortunately.

  7. David Says:

The problem with the number one seed is Arizona is a game ahead and right now the Packers and Rams hold the tiebreaker over the Buccaneers.

  8. Rod Munch Says:

Gronk is doubtful now? Wow, that is unexpected.

Miller coming back might be good, not sure it matters at the Redskins stadium since it’s a slow track, but the Packers play on a slow track as well and he did well there last game.

Speaking of which, checking the early weather forecast, on Sunday we’re looking at temps in the low 50s at gametime with a slight chance at rain/thunderstorms. Again, early in the week, could change, but good weather favors the Bucs I think.

Bucs haven’t even played half a season yet, I wouldn’t worry too much about the seeding at this point. Also f— the 49ers, incompetent morons.

How? Last week Arians talked as if Gronk would be out for a couple of more weeks.

  11. SOEbuc Says:

When you’re not sure about Gronks health, sit him. Simple as that.

Lets just hope to be healthy by mid December, if they are the team we think, they should be able to skate by till then

  13. Hodad Says:

OJ needs to earn his paycheck. Would not be shocked to see the Bucs take a TE as high as the third round next year.

  14. Wideleftandright Says:

    @ hodad,
The bucks need to draft a d linemen and a defensive end first.
Then try to find another corner or trade some draft capital for one.
Also Lavante David is getting up there in football years ,so we need a linebacker.
We have plenty of talent at tight end for the next year or two.
