Bruce Arians Updates Bucs Injuries

November 23rd, 2021

Injuries status.

Bruce Arians gave an updated injury status on various players today in his day-after presser.

Arians said that guard Ali Marpet and cornerback Carlton Davis are in the “wait-and-see” group and Marpet likely will be a gametime decision. As for Davis, Arians said the tip that he is close to playing will be when he is activated from the injured reserve list.

Arians was more positive about Vita Vea. Arians said Vea may have been available to play last night but Arians was hesitant since he hadn’t practiced all week.

On Antonio Brown, Arians was least positive saying only “he’s making progress.”

About Sean Murphy-Bunting’s play last night, Arians said his takeaway was, “Way better than I expected him to be.”

  5. Bojim Says:

Notice how Pete is always the first to comment? Hmmmm 😁

  6. brooks Says:

I don’t think injuries are the issue at this point we need to have a good game plan and outstanding coaching to beat the Colts. We need to stop their run if we don’t it’s over

  7. zzbuc Says:

Everybody should ignore this medicated troll….To obvious…..Just let him go along with his stupidity

  8. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Pete got his massage experience working on his sheep….

  9. PSL Bob Says:

Really good news about Marpet. Granted, Stinnie did a great job filling in, but I like to have him in reserve, with all the opline starters on the field. Also, would love to have VV in the lineup when we take on the Colts. He’s as good a run stopper as we have and we’ll need that against Jonathan Taylor.

  10. 2020 The Year of The GOAT Says:

    Pete ain’t right….

  11. Iamabuc Says:

I’m starting to believe that Pete is Joe himself, looking for clicks. I mean come on the first always to comment and always some bull$hit to get everybody going?..🤔…🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  12. ocala Says:

Never understand why you guys comment about Pete’s comments.

  13. Iamabuc Says:

My comments keep going to moderation and don’t understand why. Never have said anything wrong on this here pages.. Anyway here I go again: I’m m starting to believe that Pete is Joe himself, looking for clicks. I mean come on the first always to comment and always some bull$hit to get everybody going?..🤔…🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

[And trust Joe, he could be doing FAR MORE important things than spending time all friggin day and night digging people’s comments out of the moderation queue. Joe always writes this but it’s true, people’s comments in moderations is much more a pain in the arse for Joe than it is for the guy who typed them. — Joe]

    🙁

If Joe was just “looking for clicks” he’d post about a dozen old-time cheerleader photos a day.

There’s a whole lot more money to be made spending time contacting potential and current advertisers than eating up time writing fake comments for a couple of dozen “clicks.”

  15. SOEbuc Says:

Damnit AB. Davis sounds like he could be back as soon as this Sunday, I’d say two weeks at the max.

  16. Iamabuc Says:

    Just kidding..😂😂😂…Are you mad, bro?…🤣🤣🤣

  17. Iamabuc Says:

People had said worst things and never go to moderation. I just don’t get it.

  18. firethecannons Says:

Joe allows Pete without any moderation, the dude is a disgusting commenter, meanwhile every single comment I type is in moderation! Ridiculous–comments from Pete remind us not to read any of the comments.

  19. PassingThru Says:

Returning to the story, this is far, far better news than I expected. It means that the oblique injury wasn’t a tear, it was a strain. I was expecting Marpet to miss at the very least 3 games.

  20. Swampbuc Says:

Some posters may lose sight of the fact that, at least partially this is an entertainment forum, not just a news site. Pete is hilarious. Shame on those that take every word seriously.

  21. Winny Testaverde Says:

Good to have you back Swampy…you’re forgiven for the Debbie Downer schtick these past few days…admittedly I was nervous too.

  22. Stanglassman Says:

Pete is having a laugh at all you guys who take him seriously.

  23. DoooshLaRue Says:

    Pete?
    Water pick?

You know he ain’t be flossing.

  24. The Beer Whisperer Says:

Translation : Davis ain’t playing, AB still out. Ali would play if he had to, but Stinnie fills in really well, and Marpet probably won’t play.

  25. The Beer Whisperer Says:

If Pete gets under your skin, you probably need thicker skin.

  26. orlbucfan Says:

I wouldn’t want to see MedPete’s colon, talk about a BS tube. Good news on the injury front, Joes, thanks!

  27. Ericb Says:

All i know is first series of the game I love absolutley love the change in offensive plays. Its similar to 49ers using wide recivers as running backs and in sweeps and reverses. It clearly worked and creative amd it was moving the chains!!! We need more of that

  28. Stanglassman Says:

EricB. Great observation. I totally agree finally some creativity even if it was cribbed from another team.

  29. David Says:

Sounds like Vea and Miller will be back.
    Davis hopefully just another week

  30. Redsox/Bucs1 Says:

“EricB. Great observation. I totally agree finally some creativity even if it was cribbed from another team.”

I’d say about 99% of NFL plays are “cribbed from another team”. Anyway, hopefully the Bucs are saving their good stuff for the games that count. It was good to see them moving the ball well against the 2 high safety shell most teams are playing against them now.

  31. Wild Bill Says:

Pete is funny sometimes but a sad case. To be the first to post so often means he has no life. I feel sorry for the guy.
