No Injured Reserve For Richard Sherman

October 18th, 2021

Bucs CB Richard Sherman.

Well, it seems the Bucs finally got the results of the MRI on Richard Sherman’s hamstring. And it appears to be good news.

Sherman, who tweaked his hamstring Thursday in the win over the Eagles in the first quarter, won’t have to go on injured reserve, claims Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Every little bit of good news is welcome with this beat up secondary of the Bucs.

Right now the Bucs are looking at Jamel Dean, the immortal Dee Delaney and a bottle of cologne, Pierre Desir, to hold back teams’ passing attacks with Ross Cockrell at nickel.

Good thing the Bucs are in the midst of the soft part of their schedule.

Pete will spin in his grave if they rush him back. U see what happened to Chrissy McCafferty in Carolina?????

  2. DBS Says:

Oh yes pass interfering Jamel Dean. Who always helps move the other team down the field.

  3. SB Says:

Sherman is starting to grow on me. Not so much for his play but for his wisdom and love of the game. I didn’t see him this way in Seattle.

  4. Leighroy Says:

Jamel Dean should shadow James Robinson. Roll the dice with the rest. Facing Fields shouldn’t be much different than facing Hurts, for better or for worse.

  5. SC Bucs Fan Says:

Leighroy the Jaguars are off next week so Dean could go on vacation with him then Allen Robinson would run all over Desir

What ever happened to Adam’s, I thought he played well against Atl & Dallas?

I hope we get Sherman back when we play the saints on Halloween. The back end of our defense is pretty bad. We need all the help we can get.
