Lay Off Tom Brady!

October 12th, 2020

Has Tom Brady’s back.

It seems in some circles, park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting Bucs quarterback Tom Brady is getting blasted.

No, not for what you are thinking.

Brady is getting raked over the coals for not shaking hands with Bears quarterback Nick Foles after the Bucs lost to Bears Thursday.

(Joe hasn’t been monitoring Chicago media over the weekend but Joe is guessing the Chicago media is apoplectic about Brady. Joe was sentenced to Chicago for seven years late in the 20th century. Let’s just say Chicago isn’t Joe’s kinda town. Anyway, Joe was working there when the Bulls beat the Pistons in the playoffs and the Sears Tower shook from the city’s reaction to Isiah Thomas not shaking Michael Jordan’s hand after the Bulls eliminated the Pistons in the eastern conference finals. The nerve!)

Well, of all people, Colin Cowherd has Brady’s back. Cowherd took to his FS1 nationally broadcast radio show to stick up for Brady and in so many words, winning is what matters. And if someone has a problem with Brady not shaking Foles’ hand, then Cowherd said those people need to find a counselor to work out their demons.

You can see the full take in the FS1 video below.

Agree with you Casual Observer…Too much blablabla, on media and specially on local media. Some critics makes sense, some other really are way out!!!
Bucs beating the Bucs, is true, but incomplete…I saw the film twice since thursday, the referees were something to be worried about….If they don’t so something, this league is gonna die. Was something disturbing to watch.

cowherd is so shot or knows so little about the bucs, that he talked on his show about how our left tackle took the season totally off because of covid…

and how much the team needs and misses him…

he was referring to donovan smith

  4. Goforthwface30 Says:

I don’t care about your kids, I don’t like your kids – I like my kids. Most of the time. Not a Cowherd guy but that was pretty fantastic and accurate. We need to get rid of this weak “would someone pleasssssse think about the childrennnnn!!!” garbage. It’s phony

  5. Casual Observer Says:

Worst refereeing I’ve seen in a long time. Hope the NFL looks at that film.

will tom gravy shake arron rodgers hand come sunday at games end???…

    we shall see…

  7. ClodHopper Says:

Cowherd isn’t rational because of his unadulterated lust for Brady. Brady could shoot someone on Dale Mabry and Cowherd would defend him.

I wouldn’t say it bothered me enough to shake the sears tower but I thought it was a bitchy move.

  8. SYL Says:

So when they lose to the Packers will that be a forgivable loss?

  9. August 1976 Buc Says:

All losses suck, close or by alot whatever. Just win. Go Bucs !!!

CB lived in Chicago for three years when the Bears won the SB, the Super Bowl Shuffle, McMahon dropping trou, ’84 Cubs almost making it to the WS, Bulls drafted MJ, Blackhawks laying eggs…and as a FL boy got chapped nipples every horrid winter.

That said, I thought Chicago was an awesome city in good weather, with some of the best restaurants on the planet. I got gifted Bears season tix by a GF’s widowed mom (her hubby was a Bear waaaaaay back in The Day), and enjoyed the hell out of sitting in the cold at Soldier Field.

If you have to live in a big-ass city, Chicago is as good as it gets…as long as you live in the ‘burbs.

Cobra, just returned from there. Went there for the Bucs game actually. Initially planned to attend but kept the weekend plans anyways. Aside from the game I had a great time. What a city!

Patrick mahomes gets criticized for shaking the hand of a player who was later tested positive, now the goat gets criticized for not shaking hands.
Media is looking for a story that isn’t there, as usual.
