We were a better team last year, with less talent then we have now.
My friend swears the problem is not lack of effort, it is coaching.
He feels that the NFL has gotten familiar with Koetter and Smith, and know how to beat their schemes.
I hate to agree with my friend, but what else can it be ?

  2. BrianBucs Says:

Agree that the Bucs are on disarray. And they have a Lot of big decisions coming up concerning players and coaches. The Bucs have talent, but so does every other team in the league, it’s just that some are more talented and better coached. However, you are what your record says you are.
Of course it would have been great if the NFL would finish their Jameis crotch grabbing matter quicker so the Bucs would know if they should try to move him during the off-season or not.
I guess we can’t really start talking about the draft yet until we see if we still have the same head coach and GM

  3. Bucn Enough Says:

    Joe..

All OWNERS want to win…does not mean that they know how to run a franchise. Starts at the top..poor decision making.

Glazers do not know how to put a organization together….

If Jameis was playing at a highere level before he got hurt or grabbed a crotch…Koetter would be safe…

Jameis has played poorly all year…that is on Koetter….

So I think a HUGE house cleaning is coming…

  4. GhostofSchiano Says:

Sundays drive killing play with Falcons Poe. This the same 330 pound Dontari Poe that was available in free agency earlier this year?

Same year the Bucs had a boatload of money in salary cap to spend?

But Jason Gump signed D.Jackson and C. Baker?

Oh and Calaias Campbell (Leads the league in sacks) was also available.

What’s next, take a kicker in the second round? oh wait, he already did that.

  5. Bob Higginbotham Says:

Thanks Steve. It’s tough after a loss to be positive, but you have come as close as possible! Excellent podcast!
