At one point last week, nearly 1,000 readers were visiting JoeBucsFan — at the same time! Internet publishing geeks know that’s a stunning number.

If you notice anything odd about the site this weekend (unlikely), just be patient. Joe expects super smooth sailing by Monday.

No quarterback faced as many blitzes per pass attempt last year than Bucs QB Mike Glennon. Turnover-prone Josh McCown wasn’t much better.

As Joe learned way back in high school, stats can be concocted to prove a point. That’s what is known as twisting numbers.

Doug Martin was hurt and ran with his head down, for the most part, and tried to bowl over linebackers making little effort to be evasive. Charles Sims — let’s be brutally honest here — was either over-hyped or forced to play too early coming back from a bad wheel, or both.
