In this Bucs Bulletin edition of The Todd Wright Fantasy Football Podcast, Todd discusses the fantasy implications of the Buccaneers matchup with the Eagles.
.
Both teams are coming off wins, but the Bucs won with only offense and the Eagles won with pretty much all defense. Still, the Bucs putting up nearly half a hundred gets fantasy attention. Just like Jay Ajayi getting his number called on the goal line. Remember, you can ask Todd your personal fantasy questions at ToddWrightFantasyFootball@gmail.com.

Oh, and remember how Todd told you the minute Jameis was suspended that DeSean Jackson was a Week One DFS bargain based on JoeBucsFan.com information that highlighted FitzMagic’s attention to Jackson last season? Todd and JOE go together like peanut butter and jelly, movies and popcorn or even Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. Well, maybe two of those three.

Joe wondered on Twitter on Sunday (and also as you will soon hear on the Ira Kaufman Podcast) if America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, was pumping his fist watching his backup, Ryan Fitzpatrick, pump 41 points on the Saints defense in a 48-40 Bucs win. [read more]
Joe wasn’t going to touch this since there really isn’t anything to update. But since it is all over the interwebs, Joe felt he better address it. [read more]

Todd discusses the Aaron Rodgers injury and all the ways this could play out from a fantasy perspective in this edition of The Todd Wright Fantasy Football Podcast. There’s also the obvious overreaction to players who did not perform to the level of your expectations in the first game and whether to replace them with someone on waivers who put up impressive numbers.
.
Honestly, your roster should not change very much from the first week to the second week, unless you simply drafted a horrible team in the first place. This first week of waivers and even the second or third can offer players who turn into something very roster worthy as the season goes on, but do not cut anyone who actually started for you last week to make room. Not yet. Remember, Todd answers all your questions at ToddWrightFantasyFootball@gmail.com like “What’s wrong with Matt Stafford? Is Amari Cooper really that bad? And who the hell is Will Dissly?”
A segment of Bucs fans may not realize it, but the way Ryan Fitzpatrick guided an offensive beatdown of the Saints, it created what makes many football fans bolt from their house, run down the street screaming at the top of their lungs and hide from in someone’s backyard tool shed.
Whoa! Strong chatter on the QB front from a true insider and straight shooter at One Buc Palace, ex-Bucs tight end and current Buccaneers Radio Network analyst Dave Moore. [read more]
Was the Bucs’ offensive explosion Sunday in the Big Easy the result of hard work in the offseason or as simplistic as a different guy calling plays? [read more]
