What a win for the Bucs. Awesome. But is everything coming together too late?
For maybe the first time all year, the Bucs offense looked strong — with an undrafted rookie in his second start behind the wheel.
Joe fielded a Twitter question in the third quarter asking if with so many new coaches and players, did it take a while for the Bucs to get on the same page. Joe can’t go there. Every team has new guys and most teams have new assistants. They don’t regress and start out 0-4.
Besides, the Bucs offense, all 11, have played together before, and played well.
Yeah, only one team has made the playoffs in NFL history after starting 0-4. But if the Bucs are going to be the second team, they needed a win tonight.
Mission accomplished.

Daniels played competently. But this win was Bucky and the offensive line as well as the interceptions. The 99 yard drive was discouraging and the penalties were costly, but this defense is vastly improved over last year.

Going into the game…
Bucs defense, 4th overall
Bucs rushing game, 10th in yards per carry
Bucs passing offense, 32nd in net yards per attempt
Daniels was better than Baker LAST WEEK, vs the Packers.
This week, Daniels in just his 2nd game, was better than anything we’ve seen from Baker since week 7 of last year.
Imagine the hope Bucs fans would be feeling right now if the stupid Glazers didn’t meddle and lock up Baker to that awful deal. We all know Baker is too expensive to bench, and will likely rush to get back, and when he plays like garbage the excuses again will fly, that he’s injured, and if we just wait until he’s healthy, he’s going to be MVP again.

We barely escaped and we were playing the 28th ranked D .
Happy for the win. That’s about it. Bowles didn’t just turn into Don Shula, and Licht is no Howie Roseman.

It was a team victory as a victory always is. Daniel’s did a great job. We won in the trenches on offense and defense. Offense and defense both made big plays . We won the turnover battle. Bucky Irving was off the charts leading a great running game. He and Daniels co- mvp’s. On defense there were a lot of guys that had great games but I think McCollum and Parrish were co -mvp’s. There is hope for the rest of the year. Baker and Robinson have been saying they were close on offense and they were right. Let’s not g forget the special teams. They were solid and go a turnover also. I think they will continue to improve. No matter what happens , one thing is certain, this is not a team in need of a total rebuild.

Jalon should’ve never been in that spot to almost throw a pick-6 Rudy there. The game should’ve already been over if we had a competent HC.

Anyone notice that the only receiver open all night was Tez and that was a busted coverage ? ZR cannot sceam our receivers open in his offense, that is a huge problem. We ran the ball for 241 yards and still couldn’t pass the ball down the field properly. This is not a successful system, enjoy tonight because we will not win many games unless we get the passing game fixed.
