10 Things Jameis Winston Can’t Live Without

September 21st, 2019

Talks real life

America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston, is big on the vegan lifestyle and organic foods. Try Vegan Rob’s cauliflower puffs, Jameis. Delicious!

But there’s more that you need to know about Jameis.

He talked all about this kind of important stuff to GQ Sports.

It’s not quite Josh Freeman posing as Michael Jackson for ESPN, but it was still worth a laugh or two.

Jameis is big on his favorite toothpaste and cocoa butter, because you don’t want to throw the football with ugly, rugged hands. His favorite color is purple and he really likes his toiletry bag and headphones.

Cufflinks are critical to a Jameis road trip, he explains, and he has seven pairs. He also likes his fancy watches and more. Jameis says he’s “cheap” and he enjoys the free lip balm at One Buc Palace.

There’s plenty more in the video below.

Anyone want my list of 10 ?

  2. Dewey Selmon Says:

If you notice Jameis has been wearing the same outfits for a couple year. He wore his FSU cleats at his pro day unlike most QB’s. He always stuck me like a lilttle country in him. Family and humility.

  3. Rashad Says:

Damn joe, you putting in work. How you found this is truly astonishing.

  4. Anonymous Says:

No one cares about this clown. Is this supposed to make Jameis likable? Oh, how cute. How funny. Naw. Jameis, AB, Big Ben, Ray Rice, and Greg Hardy should hold a benefit for abused women. They’ve all been disciplined for mistreating them. Peas in a pod.

HE FORGOT TO MENTION HIS ‘OTHER’ FAVORITE THING…

TURNING THE BALL OVER AND LOSING THE BUCS FOOTBALL GAMES.

  6. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Watching this reinforces the serious financial damage Jameis did to himself with his off-field behavior.
He is naturally charismatic and would be a great spokesperson for many products……what a shame….has cost him 10s of millions in lost endorsements.

  7. BucsBandit Says:

    “I’m more of a visual guy… I like to hear the stands…”

    WHAT?!?!?!?!!

  8. PC Says:

Why didn’t Lasik surgery or contacts make the list?

  9. Bucshot Says:

Good to hear Jameis is taking his health seriously. Sobriety and vegan/organic living is a positive lifestyle change even if I couldn’t do it lol. And he’s looking healthy and happy. Hopefully the offence can break out tomorrow!

  10. Buc1987 Says:

Cool video Joes thanks for that.

  11. El Buco Realisto Says:

A “cooler” video would have been a preview of college qb that the Buc’s could draft with their very high first round draft pick in the 2020 draft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2019 will reveal answers to the sheep, that the “real” fans already know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“Stanford” needs to be his new nickname.

I can’t live without watching my sons Badgers kick little blues backside. Badgers rule… Wolverines are a cheap imitation. Just saying…can you imagine what Johnathan Taylor could add to our RB room?

  14. Ndog Says:

I just can’t understand why anyone would come to a fan site for any team just to constantly post negative comments daily. I me what’s the point?

  15. El Buco Realisto Says:

    @ndog

I am “positive” that the buc’s can upgrade their qb position by drafting a new qb in the 2020 draft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    How’s that???????????????

  16. Mike Johnson Says:

Enjoyed this Joe thanks. Kinda wish he had said he could not live without Winning. At least he’s down to earth. The money does not seem to have gone to his head.

  17. BucsBandit Says:

@Ndog – many of us want Winston GONE. He’s had plenty of time to prove himself and hasn’t gotten the job done after 4 years.

Our negative posting has a ‘ripple’ effect. It’s like politics. It gets others talking (and considering) that Winston may need to go. Sites like this will write more about it and express the displeasure many fans have with Winston (whether they agree or not) and, ultimately, it makes it’s way to the front office and to the Glazers. Either directly or indirectly through other fans ‘spreading the message’ through other channels.

BASICALLY, WE’RE RUNNING A STRATEGIC CAMPAIGN TO BETTER OUR TEAM.

It’s not too late for you, get onboard! 🙂

  18. Carnivore Says:

Cam Newton adopted a vegan lifestyle and he sucks ass now! Steak is good for you, Jameis! #meatheals

  19. #1bucsfan Says:

Bandit we as fans are all sick of losing. The dude is our qb support him or don’t call yourself a fan. #3 doesn’t lose the game all by himself it’s a team sport look up the definition if you don’t understand what that means. Yes he’s lost us some games but so did that dam thing on the other side of the ball we try to call defense. Just like GMC never lost a game by himself people like TMAX an realist an you bandit make yourself look an sound not only ignorant but uneducated wen you put all the blame on 1 player this isn’t tennis or motorcross or surfing football is a T E A M sport.

  20. Bucy Says:

    He can’t live without interceptions!

  21. mark2001 Says:

BBandit…Ndog and I don’t agree on everything…but I think we agree that Jameis does deserve every chance to have a great year and solidify his position as QB on this team. He has good tools to work with this year, and some really top notch coaching. Why don’t you hold your judgment until the end of the year. Then we will have the facts and not fall victim to out the backside speculation.

I think if he performs as we hope he does this year, give him a long term deal. And if not, look for the next franchise QB. No need to be so negative, if you believe in Arians, and trust his judgment. The rest is purely speculative…and premature.

  22. NoMoreAutoPlay Says:

My guess would’ve been crab legs and white women. In no particular order. 🤷‍♂️

With all humility I’d like to remind you that Baker Mayfield got arrested on camera and has Hulu live sports commercials running during nfl games. Speaks to the real hurdles we face but stuff happened 300 years ago and whatnot but I’m drunk and wtfdik ….. sorry jbf

  24. mark2001 Says:

I could be wrong, but I think Jameis has figured out that he has been hanging with some of the wrong people…and that alcohol isn’t his friend either. I think he is trying to live a life that honors his faith, and reflects well on him, his loved ones, and the team. I hopes he makes it. He is trying to do it right…and I think he deserves another chance to do so.

  25. AwShbucs Says:

Only problem with that Realist is were going to picking 32nd after we beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

  26. DB55 Says:

As for the story. I’m losing faith in my boy. Read meat increases/promote slow aggression and the happy feet from last week still has me at a lose. Boy looked scared and I don’t like. If you gonna throw picks and f up you better do it going 150%.

Cuff links are cool though. And when he gets around hof’ers he has bass in voice and feels like he belongs. See terry bradshaw video or last week’s post game interview.

Alright im going back to the goose and 1800 ✌🏽

  27. Adrnagy Says:

    Weird but whatever.

Now I know … it’s the butter lotion that makes you throw INT. I thought something was wrong with your decision making.

  28. Bucsfan3 Says:

Nice video Joe. Let’s Jameis personality show…watch his cannon flash tomorrow. Go Bucs!

  29. July Joe Says:

@BucsBandit is living proof that “Jameis Winston Dernagement Syndrome” exists … yet he doesn’t even realize that his hatred for Jameis will likely cost the team he says he loves an extra $15+mil in cap space lost, due to not re-signing Winston before Goff’s deal was done.

Congrats @BucsBandit … your idiocy and the idiocy of other fans like you, if it influenced the Glazers not to already extend Winston, will simply mean the Bucs will have to give Jameis another $15+ mil over the next 3 years.

CONGRATS … you cost your team the ability to retain a current starter in 2020 and to have to replace him with a low-round draft pick rookie.

IDIOTS …. BLITHERING IDIOTS … COULDN’T TELL A LEGIT QB IF HE WAS WEARING #3 AND BREAKING RECORDS IN FRONT OF THEM …

  30. Losinghope Says:

Nobody cares what this clown likes. JUST STOP TURNING OVER THE DAMN BALL AND COSTING US GAMES!!

  31. BucsBandit Says:

@#1bucsfan – blindly supporting ANY player on this team, let alone the QB and leader of the team is ABSURD. I fully supported Winston for his first 3 seasons and really liked him for awhile. But then I WOKE UP and realized he’s not the answer to get us back to being consistent winners.

@mark2001 – I respect your optimism, but it’s not like this is Winston’s first or second year. It’s his FIFTH. He had all of Training Camp and the offseason to improve himself. The 49ers game was PATHETIC. And he didn’t look that great against the Panthers either. As far as “give him this year to prove himself” what does that mean? It’s okay if he stinks it up for 15 games but if he plays great in Week 16 you’re okay with this being extended? Or if he plays well after 10 games? Or 8 games? It doesn’t take a full season to realize if he’s improved or not. From what I’ve already seen in the first 2 games I know he’s not the answer at QB for the future of this team.

@July Joe – repeating some stupid theory a thousand times doesn’t make it true. It wasn’t true the first 10 times you posted it nor will it be true the next 10 and beyond. Winston has not signed to an extension already because HE SUCKS. Plain and simple. The front office knows it, Jason Licht knows it, and almost every NFL expert & analyst knows it. He’s been nothing but inconsistent and turnover prone. You’re just too blind to see that this QB is a LIABILITY to the team. But don’t worry, you will soon enough. Patience.

Some of you people are way to invested. Calling this man bum. What might Jesus say about you?!

    .

This is the truth. A well-rounded diet includes meat. Animal fatty acids cannot be replicated in a vegan diet, and are essential for proper brain development and brain health maintenance, not to mention the best sources of amino acids necessary for building muscle tissue is in meat.

  39. OneBuc55 Says:

    What!

Crab legs and White Women didn’t make the list??

Just kidding, I love this kids carisma; once if ever he repairs his image I think he’s very marketable…
Hopefully he figures it out and gets to the playoffs this season cause I’d hate to start from scratch again at QB with a rookie…

  40. DooshLaRue Says:

    Ah yes, a chubby Vegan.
He probably thinks Funyons are a vegetable!

  41. mark2001 Says:

So let me reiterate what I think Jameis might finally develop into the QB we thought he could be when we drafted him. He finally has some great QB coaching…and has grown up in the last five years. And we have a better team than he has had in all these years. So he has every chance. That may not happen…but we are invested in him this year. And he is the best QB we have on the roster. So I will watch, and cheer for everyone on this team.

Further, if he doesn’t show he can be a quality franchise QB by the end of this year, and Arians believes it is time to move on, I’m in the teams corner. And will cheer for the next guy that starts as the Bucs QB.

I see no reason to believe or not believe that this will play out one way or the other. For those hating him and wanting him cut right now? Or thinking throwing money at him now and giving him a long term contract is the solution? Crazy man…just crazy…or to be kind…premature.

  45. Tval Says:

Jameis didn’t do a thing to his own image. He was lambasted by a click driven media that knows, fanboy, hater clowns feast on that nonsense. Baker Mayfield was a REAL problem in college and he’s getting all the marketing $$$. That’ll dry up fast because he’s trash. $$$ isn’t an issue for Jameis. He’s BEYOND rich and just reaching his prime

  46. hamilton Says:

keep being yourself jw,f k the haters.

  47. firethecannons Says:

Wow Joe–good job on getting us this, I really enjoyed it, I have to say, Jameis seemed very comfortable discussing his fav’s. Hard not to like Jameis here, he seems very normal and respectful of his grandmother. He practices very good hygiene also.I may end buying that cocoa butter–looks like a good product. I just wish he would go off for the rest of the season and play lights out.

  48. Jmarkbuc Says:

“I see no reason to believe or not believe that this will play out one way or the other”

What does that mean? That’s a lot of words to say nothing.

    Way to comit

  49. WestChap Says:

JW has such a likable personality… in a genuine way that you can’t script. It’s depressing how much of the last 4 years has been wasted. I’m not sure I will ever fully trust him after the Uber nonsense but am willing to try if he can just put it all together on field and off for a whole season.

  50. stpetebucsfan Says:

Like NDOG I do not understand all this JW debate.

Oh I get both sides of the debate and find merit in points made by each.

But there is NO DEBATE. It will be settled on the field this year which is all that either side can really ask.

I no longer care which side is correct…as a Buc’s fan I obviously hope the JW side wins…but it is what it is. This year out on the field…not our opinions will decide JW’s future.
