Derrick & Ira … That was the BEST Tampa Two that you’ve done together IMO. It was fascinating Derrick what you said about Tony Dungy taking on the role as HC of the Scout team. First time I’ve ever heard that from anyone, and it’s an awesome way to get to know your team as a HC, and to prepare them for the next opponent.
Also good to hear you say that it was Todd Bowles’ DEFENSE played a critical role in Arizona’s turnaround in 2013 & 2014. Most everyone seems to focus on the Cards’ offensive improvement under BA, and rightfully so … it was a huge improvement to go from scoring 250 pts in 2012 to scoring 379 pts in 2013. But that same offense fell back to scoring 310 pts in 2014, yet the Cards actually won1 more game & made the playoffs that year, thanks to their #5 defense. Really HOPEFUL that they can both accomplish the same things here.

DR, have to agree, that was a good Tampa Two. Glad I listened to it. Love the observation about Dungy running the scout team – makes a lot of sense. Same with the impact Todd Bowles can make and how he puts players in a position to be successful. That is NOT what we have had with the most recent 2 HC.
