“We Tried To Concentrate On Coverage”

October 5th, 2026

Gave up on his defense?

The Bucs defense, you may have heard, was sackless yesterday.

In more ways than one.

(The Jets had three sacks on Jordan Love in Week 2, Vikings had four in Week 1.)

In his first three games this season, Green Bay QB Jordan Love had taken 33 quarterback hits. Playing behind a makeshift offensive line yesterday facing the Bucs, Love was hit TWICE!

With a chance to take advantage of a makeshift line and a quarterback who is clearly rattled by pressures and hits and sacks, KitKat-eating Bucs coach Todd Bowles decided before the game to wave the white flag and give up.

“Ball was coming out in then less than 2.4 seconds, which he’s very good at,” Bowles said. “[He is] the best starter in the league at getting the ball out. So, we tried to concentrate on coverage, even though guys were trying to rush to pass hard, that ball was coming out so fast.”

Concentrate on coverage? Memo to Todd Bowles: If Love is so damn untouchable in the pocket because of his quick release — Joe saw Joe Burrow’s release Week 1 and Love’s isn’t close — then how the hell is every other friggin’ team the Packers play able to get to Love? But you can’t

You either coach it or you allow it to happen, the old football cliché says.  Oh, Bowles coaches keeping opposing quarterbacks’ jerseys clean, no doubt. Trust Joe.

Tampa Bay is where edge rushers come to die. Bowles’ tactics in pass defense in recent years are simply irresponsible and Joe’s friggin’ had it! If he won’t change, then the shot-callers at One Buc Palace need to inspire change.

And Joe believes that change will come in January.

Bowles doesn’t give a damn about an edge rush as a head coach and that won’t change so as long as he’s in charge of the Bucs’ defense.

Aren’t suits at One Buc Palace tired of watching this gerbil-on-a-wheel act, year after year?

The team is on the right track.

  2. TBBucFan Says:

It’s over. While the defense didn’t lose the game yesterday, the coaches had to know that they couldn’t count on the offense this week. I’ve been waiting and waiting for the game plan from the Super Bowl to show up. This was the week for all aggression to happen. They had to know that the defense had to dominate in order to win. I’ll never understand.
Joe, i know you’re convinced but with a mini bye week coming, a move will be made.

  3. FortMyersDave Says:

Another fireable admission by this poor excuse for a coach. The Glazers are showing me that they do not care for their team, so why should I? Go Rays, Go Bolts, Go away Todd Licht and the Glazers, you are pathetic.

  4. Steven #55 Says:

This is inexcusable – just like the time the Steelers had no corners and we go for a ground game. Put the Waterboy in charge – the only way is up

  5. Tvan1011 Says:

I live in Orlando, was going to take the kids to their first Bucs game this year. Guess we will wait till next year and go see a Jags game instead with the head coach the Bucs should have.

  6. Hodad Says:

He’s so worried about getting beat deep he has his corners 10 yards off the receiver. So of course you can hit wide open receivers all day for easy yards in only 2 seconds. Bowles is a clown, his defense is a circus.

  7. birdie Says:

How can the owners watch this and not act.Fire Bowles now!

  8. Drunk Bucs Fan Says:

To me the frustrating part is in theory his idea is correct. When a team puts out an OL full of people off the street that just showed up that week concentrating your chess pieces more into coverage makes perfect sense.

Why? BECAUSE YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET THERE WITH FOUR!!!

Dear God, this team has turned me into an All Caps Guy.

  9. Lessismore Says:

I don’t even like Bowles excuse of “We Tried”….. Those are the words you use in OTA’s and preseason – not four weeks into the season.
Those are the words of someone that doesn’t have any answers.
My bet is the coaching staff (all of them) are dusting up resumes, because after all, Bowles has quite the coaching tree (last said with sarcasm).

  10. adam from ny Says:

the problem is bowles only knows one way…

he doesn’t know how to improvise, adjust or be creative…

he knows football from a lifetime perspective of learning the game on a basic level…

we are not dealing with a genius mind of the game…

    he’s a basic dude…

    basic bowles…

and he has turned us into the basic bucs…

    basically schmucks 🙂

  11. SB~LV 🏈 Says:

    Blah blah blah
    Fire Fraud Bowels
Liam Coen has in the house

  12. Bucnjim Says:

The Bucs lost to a Dolphins team led by Quinn Ewers last season. They were actually trying to lose! I fell for the injury excuse (even though every NFL personality I follow hated the Bucs). Still think there is talent on this team because we’ve seen it in action with good OC’s. That game should have been the end for Bowles, but here we are. He had no answers last season & he has no answers this season.

  13. BoriMex 813 Says:

    @Bucs Owners

We REALLY let Liam walk. Look at Jacksonville now the energy, the juice, the excitement. That entire organization feels alive.

Meanwhile, we get tortured for another two months watching the same brainless turd run this team into the ground.

Look around the NFL. Owners are in the press box, invested, watching every snap like actual fans. Ours feel like they’ve completely tapped out.
    Ghosted Tampa Bay!

You want me to start the recovery process ok. Fire EVERY coach today. Clean the entire building out. And at this point, just sell the damn team.

Then maybe I’ll start feeling better.

And to the fans that see the silver lining in getting a high draft pick, A draft pick isn’t fixing this feeling. The torture continues, 0-5 Loading..

  14. Oxycondomns Says:

bowles could get fired after cowboys game mini bye coming up and it could be an embarrassing night on national tv

  15. Bucnjim Says:

Oxy, should have been after the Vikings game in my opinion. Three games was enough to show that this team hadn’t improved from last year even though they gave Bowles everything he’d asked for AND the team is healthy!

  16. Lakeland Says:

    Kansas City defense was sackless

But they have a true RB1, who ran for 177 yards, 2 scores
A true franchise QB, who threw 2 TD passes
And they drop 30 points on a solid Raiders defense

  17. Drunk Bucs Fan Says:

    @Oxy,

Kind of thinking that too. This could get ugly. Still don’t want him fired before the end of the year though.

No free lunch for Todd in 2026

  18. MadMax Says:

Its gonna be what its gonna be…..im already scouting and trying to figure out how to get Kade and Ipani and Mestemaker….somehow some way

  19. jug2 Says:

embarrassing like the Rams game last year and literally every prime time game for the past 4 years? Its obvious the Glazers don’t care anymore as long as they get their TV money from the NFL.

  20. Truth be Told Says:

I tried to tow the company line but enough is enough. Todd needs to go. He has done nothing as a Head Coach to justify keeping his job. It is Time.

  21. Knothead71 Says:

This is what drives me insane about Bowles. He has the uncanny ability to decide on a gameplan that is exactly the opposite of what they should be doing. Then, he has the “moxy” to defend that gameplan like there was no other way that could have possibly worked any better.

  22. McBay Says:

Todd is a great coach. It’s hard to win in the NFL. They compete. Wins aren’t everything. Go Bucs.

  23. ModHairKen Says:

    0-5.

  24. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Knot head

Add to it the Sean Tucker situation from yesterday.

  25. Rod Munch is Wyndham Clark Says:

Yeah, great strategy, Todd. That’s what got the Packers off to a losing start to their season. Idiot.

  26. Rod Munch is Wyndham Clark Says:

It might be time for us to acknowledge that maybe it was Patrick Mahomes hurt toe that led to their poor offensive performance in the Super Bowl rather than Todd being a defensive guru. Defensive gurus don’t have a crappy strategy like this.

  27. 3rd and 28 Says:

So the cowboys get to rag doll us on prime time in front of the nation again this Thursday. I do hope the broadcast is paid per view. Less eyeballs that way. The spread is around 10 I think. Dak could have a field day. If any coaches or players remember, you’re getting paid too. please at least put up a fight this time. Dont just lay there and act all confused like you have never seen a receiver or quarterback or tight end. It’s embarrassing.

  28. McBay Says:

The wins will come. Todd is steering the ship the right way.

  29. Lakeland Says:

There will probably be 7-8 Head Coaches job available in 2027

I don’t believe a top HC candidate will interview for the Bucs position
They are strapped with too much dead weight with the salary cap
It would be difficult to bring in players of their choice

I’ve never seen a 0-4 team in cap hell, with so many bad contracts

  30. Bucfan1988 Says:

I’ve got Dak Prescott in my fantasy league so I hope he tail-whips this sorry HC’s defensive scheme and embarrasses the Glazers.

They deserve this for putting this type of product on the field for Bucs fans that have been waiting for 9 months with hope in their hearts that Tampa would be a solid team this year.

    What a freaken joke!!

  31. Senor Harry in Costa Rica Says:

0-4, on to 0-5 stacking these to get a top 5 pick, maybe top 2.

  32. Jerseybuc Says:

    😂😂 F&$K he sucks!!!!
Can’t believe this dope is still the HC what a wasted year.

  33. Dacake Says:

Hard to believe we are winless like the Dolphins. At least they have an excuse, half of the Dolphin’s salary cap is tied up in players that aren’t even on the roster. Ridiculous.

  34. Lakeland Says:

Tampa Bay Buccaneers projected cap space in 2027
    $6 75 million

Los Angeles Chargers projected cap space in 2027
    $99.5 million

Miami Dolphins projected cap space in 2027 $135 million

I have never witness an NFL team with so many huge salaries
    Win so few games

This franchise will have a hard time convincing someone to be their HC

  35. Dacake Says:

    Very true Lakeland.

  36. 941bucsfan Says:

Im with ya on some things joe.. but the vikings sacked jordan love 4 times, and he almost threw for 400 yards on these guys. And its the VIKINGS defense, they only lost because of that leaky packers defense. And the falcons got to him only once, causing him to throw for over 300 yards.

Not tryinf to make excuses? But you got a combination of high paid and high drafted guys up front, that in between the 20s they were allowed to rush the passer against a week GB o line. Do not tell me he was dropping thoae guys in coverage, cause the film is right there. Where was vita? David walker in increased snaps did what exactly? The bucs are simply NOT TALENTED up front. They are not even overrated up front because the only people who expected anything from the bucs pass rush was…. You guessed it…..Bucs fans. National Media had common sense

  37. SummerofGeorge Says:

It really is becoming near impossible to enjoy Sundays while watching this team.

Luckily for us we get our loss over with on Thursday. Sunday will be fun this week.

At 0-5 the Glazers need to at least come out and acknowledge to the fans that change is needed and on it’s way.

Tell Bowles publicly this is his last season. If not the fans will go MIA.

  38. FortMyersDave Says:

Lakeland, true but Baker’s deal is only for 2 years, he could be a bridge QB for whomever the Bucs new head coach wants with their top 2 or 3 pick in the draft. The Jets, Tennessee , Houston could be looking for new head coaches too. I’d take Houston over Tampa but Tennessee or the Jets? The Bucs could get a good head coach IF the Glazers agree to let them shop for the groceries; ie., fire Licht. He is part of the problem too. He blatantly lied to everyone about how good this roster is. If he meant what he said he is as incompetent as Mark Dominick. Fire him with Bowles, clean house. Tampa, Hillsborough County, Sports Authority: make the Glazers show a commitment to winning before you give them their stadium coin. That should include firing Bowles and Licht!

  39. Joe Bob Pigskin Says:

    Gruden

  40. ATLBuc Says:

He knows that Love gets the ball out quickly but the cornerbacks are playing 10 yards back. That just doesn’t make sense to me. Joe can you spearhead a boycott campaign against going to games until we have another head coach?

  41. Bucnbeers Says:

We just haven’t gotten it done”: Near the end of his final 4-12 season in 2018, Bowles bluntly summarized the losing cycle. He noted that while the team stayed competitive in most games, they consistently beat themselves through ill-timed penalties and late-game meltdowns. “We haven’t been able to put it together,” he remarked.

Same old BS back in 2018 when he was with the Jets. Fast forward to 2026, still same old coach speak. He’ll never be a good coach.

  42. Been there since the beginning Says:

The look of a man scratching and clawing for answers. Reading each one over and over trying not to say the same twice in a row. Todd it’s over some pieces of the puzzle don’t truly fit others are running really low on depth, then there’s the one’s that got paid. Cincinnati is losing games. I think letting Monken walk out the door without a contract was kinda dumb at this point as well, he took a crap in your hat and put it on your head. It’s over.

  43. Drunk Bucs Fan Says:

FtMDave, agree 100%. True our 2027 cap isn’t great, but none of the bad contracts are long term. Any HC candidate that thinks he is worth it is thinking years ahead.

  44. Lakeland Says:

    FortMyersDave

The Glazers will have to be patient with the new administration
It will take a few years to turn this mess around

  45. Capt.Tim Says:

    Week 5,
and everyone finally realizes the Bucs can’t Pass Block, and can’t pass rush.

That’s why this team sucks. Add in a bad WR room and Bad LBers, this is a bad team, that is only going to compete for the top draft pick. Not the NFC South.

And I’ve said it for months. When everyone else was saying how great this team was.
Not for many other things, but when it comes to Football- Capt. Tim is wise.

The Sun will shine on the Bucs again someday. Right GM/Coach, and it won’t be but another couple years. We have many of the important pieces in place.
QB, RB, tackles, CBs. Our Safeties aren’t bad, either.

Someday, we might have a pass rush. We might be able to block for Mayfield.
And we’ll be a good team again.

  46. ATLBuc Says:

We have talent on the defensive line but like Joe said, sacks are not a priority for the head coach. McCoy said just as much that he doesn’t agree with the way the defensive line was being coached. I would wager that Flores could do a lot with this same defense. But I don’t want another defensive head coach. Too much inconsistency on offense when the OC leaves. This is all BA’s fault. Fire Bowles and hire BA as interim coach!

  47. Canabuc Says:

The problem with the scheme is that it has always been a Bend don’t break defense.
It seems to be designed around the ability to let teams move around the field between the 20s and clamp down in the red zone. Hopefully somewhere along the way some turnovers will change the field position and lead to more offensive scoring.

The problem is that as a fan all we do is watch teams keep marching the field and think that this defense is atrocious. This system worked okay when we had an offense who could score it will under Coen. Problem is we have an offense now that struggles to score 20 points a game and this type of defense doesn’t work. You need a defense that can be aggressive go after the quarterback take some chances and yes may sometimes get burned by a big play here or there but will also cause more stops and give more offensive positions without scores on the board.

  48. Confido75 Says:

Bowles has been here 8 years and 5 years as HC and this is what we get in return. I blame the Glazers and JL for this nightmare. Its been a steady and steep decline for this team since BA left. No leadership, no vision, no creativity, just the same turd sandwich every week. Whats worse is they tell you its not a turd sandwhich and push these BS hype campaigns every year pissing on our legs and telling us its raining. I know if Malcolm Glazer was still here he would be smacking the back of his kids heads saying, “WTF are you doing??”.

  49. Outrigger Says:

Funny thing is we’re only 2 games out of first place lol

  50. Outrigger Says:

    Well said Confido75

  51. Warrenfb12 Says:

Aka I drew up a bad game plan. Coaching.

  52. buc4evr Says:

Fire “no confidence” Bowles today, bring in Gruden. At least if the Bucs go down in flames it will be fun watching Chucky on the sidelines. He won’t hesitate throwing non performing players under the bus. You listening Otton?

  53. Outrigger Says:

They won’t fire Todd until the season is over. Even if they do, who be our interim coach? One of Todd’s lousy assistants?

  54. Marky mark Says:

I never understood the,Daniels,Doods type fan that thinks it is ,better to lose now, with a maybe he will be the next Mahomes. … Or not. At 0-4 in a,weak division we can still go on a,run and be 13-4. Daniels, should, sit on the, bench and learn like the Raiders are, doing with A Number one over all and,Heisman college, champion. I would Imagine co owner,Brady pushed for that. Garrapolo would be better but The veteran you have on hand is,Rypian. Play him until Baker gets back. By playing b this kid under fire you will crush his ego and confidence. Mahomes, Brady, and The Steeler QB all sat for a while. A veteran gives the Bucs,a best chance to win one or two. This was,a good performance by the, defense, and special teams, which was, squandered by a playing A Udfa with two picks, and,a muffed, snap.

  55. Marine Buc Says:

It’s unfortunate – Todd Bowles defense is only giving up @ 20 points per game on average and is currently ranked #6 in the NFL – not bad if we still had Tom Brady at QB…

If we only had the ability to score 23 points per game.

This offense is way worse than I ever imagined and my initial expectations were fairly low.

Our O-line is an embarrassment – What happened to G. Barton?

Cody Mauch and Goedeke are horrible.

    I’m gobsmaked.

  56. Nick Says:

So you know the QB is releasing the ball quicker than any QB in the league and your go to is have your Corners play off coverage 8-10 yards away? Seems like playing press man coverage might be the better option BUT I’m not a coach so what do I know…

  57. Marine Buc Says:

    @ Nick

I agree – the excuses don’t add up but TBH the defense only allowed 17 points.

This defense is not the main issue IMO…

  58. Marky mark Says:

The weird spin doctors, are,at work. Fact is the defense has, been playing well all season. Against the pack the special teams, had,a clean game unlike last game giving up a td. Some how the, anti Baker contingent chased the Baker Bros off the board and Daniels has been annointed the,Savior. The Daniels, droids, are practicing the, same blind loyalty b they accused the,Baker bros of. Daniels squandered,a good performance by the special teams and defense, with two picks, and,a muffed, snap. Smart owners and,GM,s bring in a veteran like Mattiota or Keenum as,backups. That is,what DC and Chicago did. Vikings also with Wentz. Garapolo is still available. At this point with11 nfl appearances you play Rypien as opposed to continue to allow Daniels to lose his confidence.

  59. Kenton Smith Says:

We suck because our defense sucks. I don’t give a damn what the stats say. I watched our rookie inside linebacker get run over to start the game. Then a couple of free agent inside linebackers whose long flowing hair looks alot better than their football.

Green Bay came in averaging 48 yards per game rushing the football. They ran it down our throats for over 50 yards in the first quarter.

We decided Bain was a hall of famer worthy of our first pick and decided Trotter had the pedigree to replace Lavonte. While we passed on the most decorated linebacker in the history of college football. Who, with 46 tackles, is second in the NFL. One player has 47. No other defender is within 5 of those 2. Oh yeah- JRod has 46 tackles and still has time to intercept Patrick Mahomes. Meanwhile, our top 2 picks have not even played half our games.

Our number one need was at middle linebacker. The absolutely moronic decisions we made on draft day should lead to wholesale firings.

Todd Bowles has his hands all over our offense, too. He’s used offensive turnovers to explain all our woes. Bullshlt. Last year the Super Bowl winner led the league in interceptions.

Our 2 turnovers against the Vikings- late 4th quarter when Baker broke his thumb and then Daniels throwing a Hail Mary? Those had ZERO impact on that game.

When we fumbled 4 times in the Cincy game- Cincy scored touchdowns on 3 and a field goal on 1. Baker fumbled diving into the end zone showing more effort than this a$$ defense has shown in 3 years. Then Cincy drove it down our throats 80 YARDS!!

Our rookie threw his first pick yesterday and our defense lifted him up by having it fed down their throats for you guessed it- 7 points!

And jacka$$e$ say- we got 2 turnovers!! Yes, after the Packers got deep into our territory. I think your chances of going 98 yards with a drive are less than 1 in 10.

Todd Bowles made a huge production out of how Baker’s 16 picks in 2024 was a huge part of our problems. Someone please look at how we were 6-2 last year and games 9,10, 11 last year we yielded over 100 points.

We’ve got one chance to turn this season around. Baker Mayfield. He’s not just the best football player we’ve got, he’s far and away the best football player we’ve got. And Wirfs. That’s it. We blew our shot at the best defensive player in the league. We suck.

  60. FortMyersDave Says:

Marine Buc, flip Barton and Bredeson after the loss to Dallas? I bet it works and then one of them will get injured.

  61. Tucker Says:

This defense had two quarterback hit on a team with makeshift oline of the street that every other team has been going off on it isn’t good flipping inside linemen isn’t going to fix anything but them being a$$ somewhere else the oc sucks hist blocking shemes suck the head coach sucks this is a bad team and nothing is coming to save it.

  62. kgh4life Says:

Just press the wrs at LOS, it’s ok to do so. You then disrupt the timing and make Love hold the ball longer, allowing the pass rush to get to him. Problem solved.

  63. Kenton Smith Says:

And our defense played great on third downs, Joe? The Packers did manage 15 first downs. And of course they went for it on 4th down 3 times, and they were successful all 3 times. This defense is leaderless, rudderless, and sucks.

  64. Pa Privateer Says:

    at Adam from NY:

we are not dealing with a genius mind of the game…

    he’s a basic dude…

    basic bowles…

and he has turned us into the basic bucs…

    ______________________________________________

I love this statement. Bowels is just a Basic B***h – Basic Coach.

  65. Marky mark Says:

Kenton Smith your h@te has blinded you same anti Baker Bros.

  66. Marky mark Says:

Actually Rypien played a year at the Rams with Mr. Robinson and knows the offense. That plus multiple other offenses he knows. That is why the GM picked him up. Start him this Thursday and save Daniels more humiliation against a good team.

  67. Oldtimer Says:

It seems like the Bucs two former Offensive Coordinators are doing just fine as Head Coaches. Liam Coen & Dave Canales.

  68. Conte Piscatelli Says:

Please note the best play the defense made all day, the late interception was because a player said the he’ll with my responsibility and let his man go up the sideline and went and made a play. Freelancing, the hallmark of a defense that didn’t listen out trust its coach! Should be Bowles last day in Tampa.

  69. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Concentrating on coverage?

I saw McCollum turn and run from Golden yesterday at the LOS. Standard Bowles coverage.

  70. Bosch Says:

Why all the negativity? The Bucs covered the spread yesterday. Isn’t that an improvement? I think even an out right victory is possible some time after the bye.
Some got +3.5. Some got +3.–Joe

  71. NoRapCap Says:

Now all we had to do is boycott the Glazers. No one should show up to any games or watch them on TV. We have to hit the glazers where hurts
    (In the pockets)

  72. SkunkApe Says:

They’ve just got to coach it better and play it better.

    That’s all.

I am beginning to think Bowles is suffering from dementia.

  73. StickinUp4Centers Says:

Todd, just because your TE drops balls doesn’t mean that all other TEs in the league drop balls and can be left uncovered.

  74. SlyPirate Says:

At this point, a win is a loss. 0-16!!! We’ve got the right coach for the job.

  75. Kenny Says:

When are yall going to officially call for Todd Bowles head? When is enough, enough?

  76. Rod Munch is Wyndham Clark Says:

@Kenny, read today’s 5 Things. One Joe finally did!

  77. Oscar Says:

Yes Joe, the Jets had 3 sacks and the Vikings had 4, but if you watched any of their game against the Falcons, although they only got one sack on Love, they harassed him all game long, had only the one pick, but they hit him repeatedly and Love probably had 10 or more turnover worthy plays! So the Packers have been vulnerable in pass protection in every game until they played the Buccaneers !

  78. Rob Says:

Love seeing our DE/OLB’s drop into coverage in obvious passing situations.

  79. MikeBuc Says:

“Funny thing is we’re only 2 games out of first place lol”

The chances of us winning our next game is thin and none so best to think of it as 3

I am now willing to think of the season as over because I don’t see any improvement in the oline.

  80. Kenton Smith Says:

The Green Bay Packers defense sucks. They have allowed 26.2 points per game, and that’s with holding us to 14 points. The Vikings are an elite defense this year. They are averaging 12.8 points allowed.

It took a 90 yard punt return for the Vikings to beat us. Baker Mayfield fumbled 8 times for turnovers in a 3 year timeframe from 2023-2025. Less than 3 fumbles for turnover per year. He fumbled for turnover 3 times against Cincy. An outlier.

Jalon Daniels did okay yesterday. If our defense hadn’t have coughed up a 10 point second half lead to the Browns, then we reclaimed the lead late in the 4th quarter and our defense on third down had a broken play and an untouched TE waltzing into the end zone, for a 4 point lead?

Even though, in the rain Baker threw one of the most elite passes that should have won the game. That loss is 100% on the defense. Hell, we scored 20% more points against Cincy than Jacksonville did yesterday.

Hands down, Green Bay had the worst defense we’ve seen this year. And the only way our rookie had a chance was if our defense was worth a hill of beans. They aren’t.

If Mayfield can recover quickly from his dislocated thumb, we could go 6-0 in this division any still win 10 games. If Daniels has to play out the rest of the year, we’ll be lucky to win a game.

  81. Fanofdabucs Says:

There is no other defensive coordinator in the entire league that could take Vita, Kancey, YaYa, Robinson, Bain and Walker, Mohammad nd NOT be able to generate a pass rush.

There is something philosophical wrong with the scheme.

These aren’t all bad football players. JL can draft all the edge rushers and DTs he wants .but handed them to Bowles is pointless.

Mini bye would be a great time to fire them all.

Zac Robinson is the offensive version of Bowles. Give Coen Emeka, Godwin and Hurst and watch what he does with them.

Burn it down after Thursday’s ass whipping.

  82. BucfaninOregon Says:

This Joe gets it. It’s time to call out this BS that we have been fed by TB. Press coverage and a fierce pass rush go together. When you have neither you wilk lose in the NFL When this excuse for a HC spouts such BS CALL HIM OUT! Thanks, This Joe.

The secret is that Leftwich is Bowels mentor. He teaches him how to do press conferences and to stick firmly to his beliefs weather they work or not. These numbers don’t lie. This is just pathetic game planning. Everyone can see it. Just asked Kirk Cousins. He figured out this coach a long time ago. There have been no adjustments since. We are playing at a disadvantage. It’s a Bucs life!

ONG. What a total LOSER. He must be trolling us all, at this point. Though, it’s really a HC without any other answers, is what we’re looking at here.

To quote Jackie Chan “YOUR FOCUS NEEDS MORE FOCUS!!! As the season winds down the Grazers should put one of those big ol clown air cannons with a sign for Bowles Licht and the whole coaching staff to step in and FIRE!!!

  86. Orlando Kevin Says:

I don’t like to overreact. But too many examples to support firing Coach Bowles. Tired of the excuses that coaching needs to be better, effort needs to be better, we just didn’t execute, we aren’t using key players to their strengths, and now some phantom wind caused us to attempt a 4th and 11 with an undrafted QB in his first start versus putting the game on a highly reliable kickers shoulders at a distance that he can make. No blame there towards Jalon just reality of any new QB.

Gerald McCoy yesterday has also elaborated on first hand conversations that he has had with current players and summed it by saying they are coaching them to do things that aren’t going to work. Is that why we aren’t seeing more consistent effort?

Let’s move on and get an Offensive Head Coach that knows how to make adjustments and be the thermostat to turn up the temps.

  87. Sam Says:

Remove this imbecile already. Jesus Christ the glazers have no idea what they’re doing.

  88. SenkoFox Says:

I’d trade bowles to any bloody, flaming team for a bucket of Popeye’s, coleslaw and some biscuits.
