Sackless Performance By Tampa Bay

October 4th, 2026

The Packers started two backup guards today and a backup right tackle.

The Bucs came up sackless while Packers QB Jordan Love dropped back to pass more than 30 times.

That’s deplorable.

Consider that Green Bay, per the stats nerds, entered the game with the game with the worst pass block win rate in the NFL — by two miles. Still, the Bucs were impotent on their pass rush. Where were Vita Vea and Calijah Kancey?

Where was the brilliance of Todd Bowles to shake up Love and force turnovers? Love was hit just two times.

YaYa Diaby continued his sackless season. Al-Quadin Muhammad had 11 sacks last season with Detroit and can’t buy a sack this season. David Walker didn’t play enough for Joe’s liking, but he was out there more and got “close” a few times.

“Ball was coming out in less than 2.4 seconds,” Bowles said, adding the Bucs focused on coverage today.

And people wonder why Joe rails about Bowles’ inability to develop an edge rusher and an edge rush overall.

    Clean house. Jason Licht included.

  3. Patrick Says:

I thought I saw Michael the Ghost Johnson out there

  4. HamSamwyche Says:

“They had an open receiver in less than 2.4 seconds after the snap. We can’t prepare for that because we don’t see it in our practices”

  5. Tom Edrington Says:

UFA quarterback did the best he could……defense held them in there, at least it was competitive…….no doubt Dak Prescott can’t wait to butcher the Todd Bowels defense………

  6. Lakeland Says:

You don’t need sacks to win football games

You need points to win football games

  7. Austin Says:

    #TankForJeremiah

  8. Rod Munch Says:

Defense gave up 17 points and got 2 turnovers, and played well today. They were not an issue at all, even with Bowles playing his moronic super soft coverage and not sending any blitzes.

  9. MF Bucs Says:

    *Gutless performance by Tampa Bay

  10. Plan Bowles from Outer Space Says:

Bowles is a compleat loser. Not NFL material. His late game blunders keep on coming. he just said he does not understand what they did. At least he is honest.

  11. Lakeland Says:

    The defense got 2 turnovers

I’ll take that over sacks anyday
Especially when we only gave up 17 points

  12. 3-28 curse continues Says:

Offense and defense schemes are just turrible

  13. ChattBucsFan Says:

    They’re sackless, neutered.

  14. Ed Says:

    Worst Bucs team this century.

  15. Matt Says:

    We kept Bowles to tank

  16. Popcornmike67 Says:

All I have is a question not a comment. Who will it be?, Sheelhasse or Tomlin

  17. #1bucsfan Says:

Not going to get any sacks with the ball coming out that fast.

  18. Winny Testaverde Says:

    Licht’s Out in 2026!

All of his high picks in both sides of the line…either expensive and leaking oil or straight busts.

His prized free agent last year…Reddick for $14 million…was so bad that no one signed him again!

  19. Miller5252 Says:

Wonder what a real coach could do with this team. These guys look like they’re never ready and no plan. Glad David and Evans didn’t go through this again

  20. Popcornmike67 Says:

Bucs DL haven’t been the same since Kacy Rogers left. Wonder why he left. Hummm

  21. Dreday Says:

I will never disagree with Lee again

  22. Rocky Says:

Licht has to stay we are so close if we have a better coach, hell any coach. But our run defense though was on point thank god.

  23. Lakeland Says:

There’s nothing bad you can say about the defense effort

    Offense turned it over twice

The defense held them to 17 points
    And then get 2 turnovers

The problem is a lack of offense
I said this all of the off-season, this offense is not good

  24. adam from ny Says:

    0-4 = season over

    wow

    and 0-3 at home…

    wow

so draft talk first week of october…does it get any wilder than that…

just sad to see the culture drop this low

  25. Mike Johnson Says:

A lot of you blame Todd Bowles. But the real blame goes to a ball-less Glazer family. I mean Bowles is doing what he has alwys done…Lose. If your emplyer allowed you to keep your job when you consistently screwed up? You would keep it too. So I say, this is suppose to happen to our Bucs. And you can put a paycheck on thursday night being a loss against the Cowboys. 0-5? Here we come
Maybe, Just maybe, the Glazers will clean house after this year. And I do mean clean. Licht gotta go too. Grab some wood Buc fans. We got a lot more losees coming this year. IT IS A BUC LIFE.

  26. PowerOfPewter Says:

Trade deadline is in 4 weeks, Bucs should start amassing draft capital for the next GM and HC.

  27. Saskbucs Says:

Bowles is a gutless moron. Done even giving him props for being a player guy. No one respects this loser.

His vaunted run D was giving up 6 ypc.

GMAC words wringing as true as ever today. What this dummy schemes, doesn’t work! Great you only gave up 17 by keeping everything in front of you! How did that work out?

Parrish gets an interception cause he goes off Bowles script to make a play.

Bowles puts another Steelers game on his resume with his “we do what we do” crap.

  28. Will Says:

    Disgusting season

  29. adam from ny Says:

    no sacks = vagines

  30. BigZ Says:

It’s been several years, has anyone spotted the defense of guru? If so, please send him to 1 buc place.

  31. Saskbucs Says:

I bet Bowles is telling the Glazers right now that he held another team to low points but the offense is terrible and they should fire Robinson.

They should, the offense is terrible but Todd is complicit as HC and part of the hiring committee.

“How could you shred my D twice with Cousins and do nothing now?” Bowles to Zac probably

  32. Buc in VA Says:

No pressures. No sacks. No threat. No problem.

  33. Lakeland Says:

    This offense is our downfall

The OLine is the most overrated group in the NFL
We don’t have a run game, we lack quality RBs
Our WR room is not good, only good on paper
    Our QB play is terrible

  34. So Cal Bucs Fan Says:

Liam goes into Cincy and wins.

Bowles with three OLine backs ups gets no real pressure.

These guys do NOT want to play for TB.

  35. Fred McNeil Says:

You’re actually right, Patrick. Ghost Johnson signed a three year $96 million just this very morning. He obviously didn’t get a sack but he was great in pass coverage Joe must have overslept cuz he neglected to report that. Cmon, Joe… Keep up with the news.

  36. Hodad Says:

When you give 10 yards cushion to receivers in zone, it’s easy to get the ball out quick. When you drop Walker in coverage, it’s easy to find open receivers. We need to get off this hamster wheel. Stop the insanity already. Bowles, and Licht need to be fired NOW!!

  37. Bucsfan951 Says:

The best was when they dropped vea into pass coverage at the goal line. That’s top notch stuff right there smfh

  38. Fred McNeil Says:

Lakeland… Who has been saying the BUCS OLine is overrated. Their name is mud.

  39. BucsFan252 Says:

New GM HC and QB. We need to start completely over

  40. ChiBuc Says:

people wonder why Joe rails about Bowles’ inability to develop an edge rusher and an edge rush overall.

    @Joe,
Wr hear you, we see you, and we suffer with you. The only people who seem oblivious to this defensive malpractice seem to be Licht and the Glazers

  41. Pewter Power Says:

Yaya got 7.5 as a rookie it means he didn’t know the scheme and was playing off pure instinct and ability. No team is this inept it has to be the scheme. Typically i mean a sack can get pushed your way by another guy who’s generating a rush. Nah it’s this garbage scheme. Once he learned the scheme he’s trash

  42. Les Says:

THE GHOST OF CULVERHOUSE IS ROAMING AROUND RAY -J . WISPERING IN THE GLAZERS EAR !

  43. Buckinator Says:

Bowles missed an important time out at the end of the first half. For me, I think that was the game. Never been able to manage the clock.

  44. Buc in VA Says:

Pewter: YaYa is toast the second he comes in contact with the OL.

  45. Bosch Says:

But, but, but, but……the Bucs covered. Certainly, Bowels can make the case that their showing improvement.

  46. Steve Says:

So today the focus was on coverage, how did that work out. What’s gonna be the focus on Thursday, in fact what has been the focus so far this season

  47. SBucs13 Says:

Todd’s is very good at making g decent players regress into complete crap with poor coaching. There is nothing hope for this team.

  48. Itzok Says:

Packers have the worst o line in football. So bad they brought guys off the couch along with duct tape to put a line on the field today.

This team defense generated zero pressure. If they couldn’t against this team they never will

  49. Frank Pillow Says:

Gutless coach who’d rather get sliced-n-diced vs attacking anyone and letting his OLBs actually rush the passer. No stunts. No games. Nothing remotely confusing to anyone.

  50. LakelandSteve Says:

This is the same maybe a little worse than the second half of last season. Our team does not play with a lot of passion or fight. Just like their Head Coach.

  51. Larrd Says:

Don’t forget Todd. Bowles was sackless, too!

  52. Pa Privateer Says:

    Fire Bowels.

  53. Newbie Says:

    Are you surprised? Lol

  54. John M Says:

Isn’t it funny what happens when you get paid

  55. Kidfloflo Says:

It will be fascinating next year to see what a new D.C.does with the same players! Man if they ball out from the gates, it will really be nauseating that we kept Blows this long past his expiration date
